Bowen Lodge

Was there to see a rare bird (Gray-crowned Rosy Finch) in the area.
The 2 hostesses were very helpful & friendly. They put out more bird seed & allowed us into the lodge to use the restroom. Lodge itself was very clean & very unique. I would love to come back & get a cabin!

A very beautiful,well kept resort. We had our own RV so did not Stay in cabins but they looked very nice!
The resort is on Lake Winnebegosh and Cutfoot Souix Lake. With awesome sunset views.
The beach is a 5 minute walk or you can drive down. It is well manicured and many water toys to play with.
We will definitely return!

A great place to bring family, friends, and kids! The service from the owners and their family is second to none and they went above and beyond to make sure every guest felt welcome. Robust and personalized service was provided from the moment we arrived until we left. The perfect place to get away for a week or weekend!

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL and stunning family ran and friendly resort. Best fishing around and couldn't recommend more for friends or family! Wild Bill and Gail are the best!

I have not yet had the pleasure of staying at Bowen Lodge but I am sure it will be a worthwhile, wonderful experience. I have heard from many friends who have been there and they have had an exceedingly positive experience there. I have known Bill Heig, the proprietor, since the beginning of high school (in the 1970s) and he has always been a stand-up, honest, caring individual who will give you top notch value for your money--and you will certainly get a good experience at Bowen Lodge. I would strongly recommend it either for a romantic getaway or a fun family outing. I know you will not be disappointed.

After 16 years of camping with 2 other families exploring MN/WI campgrounds, we finally found our fit! Bowen Lodge will now be our choice for our weekly family vacation. Can't beat the hospitality and perfect facilities on a fantastic lake. The Heig family has nailed it! Thanks so much, we enjoyed our stay and will be returning year after year!

We had an Amazing family trip. It's just absolutely gorgeous there. But more importantly the owners and all the staff are just wonderful people and make you feel like family.

You can rent a cabin anywhere. But finding courteous top notch service and friendly hosts is difficult. The owners of Bowen Lodge would give the shirt off their own back just to make a guest happy. This place is awesome, and an absolute must for anyone considering a fishing trip in MN

If you're lucky enough to be able to book a stay here you'll be greeted by the generous and friendly Heig family. Cabins are great, camping is wonder and the swimming beach is perfect for families. You can also bring your boat and launch nearby.
A true hidden gem.

Absolutely nothing like this place! So family oriented and they go over the top to make sure your stay is amazing. The lodge is great for movies and games and the cabins are SO clean and cozy.. did I mention air conditioning? You won't be dissapointed.

Been coming here for a long time. Wonderful owners, great cabins with pretty much all the amenities. Boat docks are pristine. If only we were better fishers.....

Our family has vacationed at Bowen Lodge for over 20 years. The resort is fantastic and the Heig Family could not be better hosts. The memories we have as a family spent at Bowen Lodge are priceless!

Great resort, they were very friendly. We didn't catch any fish, but we were only there 3 days. Unfortunately there was no WiFi.
