Bowstring Shores Resort

Megan and Rob hands down gave us a great experience everything from the cabins to the fish house was clean, and up to date. We are planning on coming back and will for many many years!!!

My crew and I are new to this resort after relocating from another after 15 years we have stayed here for the first time.

. I met the owner Megan for a one on one to introduce ourselves and share the kind of people our group is. She was very welcoming and understanding of our story. Gave us the tour of our cabin and showed us some of the grounds. We were the only guests on the entire resort property this weekend we visited due to end of season.

We have booked again for the hunting opener for 2023. We enjoyed the privacy. We didn't get bothered at all. We received an extra load of wood to burn because we enjoy fires. Overall it was a nice stay.

Upon leaving we made good on our bill for the weekend and thanked them for their hospitality. Shook hands and said see you in a couple weeks.

This place is a fishing camp…. but the cabins are great and the views of the lake are beautiful and the fishing is very good.

Stayed the weekend with seven guys ice fishing. Cabin was was very clean and beds were comfortable. Cabin had full kitchen with all the pots and pans we needed. Staff was super friendly and easy to work with. Only setback is the hill down to the lake pulling an ice house.

Had way to much fun. Ice access is excellent. Our cabin layout wasn't the greatest. To access some bedrooms you have to go thru other bedrooms. But overall the cabin is very nice.

The owners are Good people. The rental cabins are beautiful and clean and the fishing is pretty good. The resort Is set on a beautiful healthy lake. Had a great time.

Rena is the best! Always made sure we were happy and had what we needed. The cabins were clean and we had everything we needed. She is also a very talented artist! We will be back next year so I can catch my second fish. 🤣

My family and I have been going here for about 5 or 6 years, and I absolutely love it here! It's a great place to forget about your responsibilities at home and just relax. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a getaway. No matter how long the drive may be, it's still worth it. We drive about 8 hours to get here, and still enjoy all of it.

First time here. Nice and quiet. Owners are pretty nice. No complaints so far. The fishing seems to be good. Saw lots of walleyes get caught. Not luck here yet, but just need to know the local tricks.

A great place for family! My dad, grandpa, uncles, and my cousin came up here the weekend after fishing opener and had a great time. Darv was so helpful at the boat landing. Any time we needed anything, he was there to help. I will recommend this resort to everyone. Love it up here! Not to mention that the grounds are well maintained and cabins are kept updated. We stayed in cabin #11. Thanks we will be back.

We've come here going on 9 years now. We LOVE it here. Great fishing. The resort is awesome kid friendly. Activities everyday available. Meet new friends and the next year they're back. Pelicans on rock pile below.

Wonderful weekend away. Very clean and cozy cabin. Great for an ice fishing getaway! The owner even helped jump my car that wouldn't start because of the cold. Will definately go back!!

Beautiful cabins, beautiful scenery, nice pool, lots of slips to park your own boat/ pontoon or giant pink flamingo floaties (no joke, best thing I've seen all week). Super friendly staff, good bait shack and a fishing pier. Just a wonderful place to get away!

Great cabins and good fishing! Owners where very polite and worked hard accommodating our group and keeping the ice roads clear. Our 2nd year and will be back again next year.

Love Bowstring Shores resort. It's full of friendly people, has beautiful cabins that overlook the lake and a wonderful, helpful staff. My parents have a destination trailer in the reaort's campground area and it has been a summer highlight to visit the last 3 years.

This resort is way above a five star rating. The owners and staff went above and beyond to make our wedding anniversary a success. Cabins, grounds, and dock/boat lifts were in immaculate condition.

Cabins are well stocked with every cooking utensil you could need. Resort owners are super friendly and very helpful.

The cabins are nice and are dog friendly. The pool is heated so it's warm even when the weather is cool. Free popcorn and $1 sundaes on Sunday.

darv and marjeen are simply fantastic. This is a retreat you will always remember. The staff at this resort go out of their way to ensure you have the best experience. We return every year to BSR because we know what to expect, fun!. the fishing is excellent and the views breath taking. The only thing you will regret is not staying longer. There is a pool and playground which the kids love and the lodge has things that remind you of home. Thank you BSR and cant wait to see you in the fall!

Darv and Marjean are amazing hosts and make you feel like family and do what they can to make your stay enjoyable and relaxing. We've been going up for 6 years and I can hardly wait to get back for our 7th.
