We had a fantastic adventure here! Loved visiting the horses! Hiking the trails! A beautiful space. And Kevin, the owner, went above and beyond to help us with a pretty major dilemma! He’s an angel on earth in my humble opinion. Thank you! We’ll be back!

Great place for camping, both for RVs, Pull behinds and Tents. We got a beautiful site right on the water. Horseback riding was best part of the weekend. Great and clam horses. If you're a beginner I recommend you ask if you can ride Austin. But sadly this weekend was the last weekend till next season.

We went to el rancho manana super last minute.
The good: they had plenty of open camps and the neighbors were really quiet even when partying . It was a nice change as I’ve been camping many places in different states.
We went horse back riding which was an extremely fun ride. Our guide Emily did a wonderful job with my daughter Isabella who is nine. She was extremely patient as Isabella’s horse was a tad slower then the other horses . She even took a nice photo for our family which I didn’t expect:).
We met some people and they were awesome. It’s a great camping ground for families and young children.
Negative: the group of guys slinging the F word around at the kids portion of the lake. Don’t be like them they were rude but other then that we had so much fun!. Thank you we will be back again !!.

Great place to bring the family or friends for a great get away weekend! 1200 acres of trails to horseback ride on, go swimming or boating on the lake, or just hangout by a campfire. The Wild West show in June is always a blast and the Bluegrass festival in August is so big and fun with amazing food vendors! I've been camping here since I was little and met my now Husband here at the Wild West show. Such great memories for the both of us here at El Rancho over the years.

It is pretty nice place to go out with families . However, the granting experience doesn’t turn out the way I imagine ! It is like tenting in a busy supermarket ! Not very quiet to tent at night ! They even set firework till 10:30 pm at night ! If you try to catch sleep early , it is a bummer ! Anyway, It is still nice despite the tenting ! If you are night owl , you can go !

Beautiful place to horse back ride with lots of trails and plenty of space in the meadow for our horse trailer to park/camp! Lots of rolling hills and views to rival anywhere in MN. Saw some good looking rental horses taking guided groups out.
I was surprised there weren't more riders out on a gorgeous weekend. I'm thinking it's one of those hidden jewels.
We brought our own horses and were prepared to keep checking the maps so we wouldn't get lost.
Lots of trail signs but the maps didn't show many of them so we will be using GPS next time.

Great place to go camping. Good camp sites. Some take a little effort for leveling but it's not a koa. They just let you camp and the rules are simple and they don't patrol it like a prison.
Reasonable prices, buy the wood by the bucket and they are generous.
Horse back riding is great and worth it.

To us, this is camper heaven. Beautiful campground on a small lake. We traveled throughout the state and tried many different campgrounds. They were cement parking lots. They have spacious sites and tons of trees. Very nice. And horses too!

This was a business trip for us. Unfortunately, very shortly after arriving, we were relocated to a different area and didn't get to stay. The grounds were really pretty with grassy rolling hills, lakes and plenty trails. We saw beautiful horses as we drove in. Staff and management were extremely helpful and accommodating with our situation. If we are ever in the area again, we would love to stay here.

As both a photographer and a horseback rider, there is never a shortage of beauty, great trails, and scenic views at El Rancho. Highly recommended for any outdoor enthusiast.

Such a fun place to get away, even for a few hours. We took the family horse back riding. It was so much fun! My kids had a blast and the guides were very friendly, polite and knowledgeable. Will definitely be back!!

Great place to relax and enjoy nature. Fishing is great, sandy beach for swimming, and lots of activities for kids. Horses take you into the heart of this 1300 acre campground. Themed weekends Memorial Day to Labor Day and usually live entertainment on Saturday nights. Friendly staff, and volunteers and spacious well kept camping spaces and bathrooms.

I grew up going to this campground with my parents several times every summer. Being able to go back for a work outing was great. Unfortunately, the best part about El Rancho was riding mini bikes on their many trails, but that isn't available any longer. Too bad, that's why we always went there😢 Still awesome to see that the place was almost exactly how I remember.

This plAce is great! Sprawling, Rolling hills so you dont feel your right on top of a hundred other campers. Beach was so nice! The walking trails were beautiful Bathrooms could use a huge update though perhaps a bench so you don't have to put your soap the floor? Went for the annual bluegrass festival, it was so relaxing and fun! Will come back for sure!

Awesome camping location with a whole lot of activities for every age and a large herd of horses for horseback riding at every skill. It's right on a lake that has pretty darn good fishing with a nice Beach for the rest of the family. It is also home to two of the best Bluegrass festivals west of Tennessee and North of the Mason-Dixon line. It is hosted by the Minnesota Bluegrass and Old-time music association with a massive permanent stage and large audience area. El Rancho manana has over 1,200 acres of land to explore and it's still a working Ranch in the middle of Minnesota

Horse trail riding. Could have gone a little faster but you have people that have never ridden and ones that have. Gotta go with the flow. They have calm horses.
Always a fun time with the horses though.
Lots of room if you want to bring your camper and your own horses. Privacy too. Not enough of these places available.
