Aki Japanese & Chinese Cuisine

Food was fresh and delicious. Our waitress was pleasant. Very importantly, the ambience of the place was very welcoming. This is one of three sushi places within several feet from each other and I chose AKI due to its reviews and inviting atmosphere. Decor is beautiful yet simple.

Nice Japanese and Chinese restaurant with great vegetarian options. Friendly staff and some free edamame

Have The best day ever.

Loved the pink lady roll! Also enjoyed the other one though I can't remember its name. Very generous sized portions and reasonable prices. Clean, comfortable and a very nice pleasant ambiance.
Came back for a 2nd time and loved it!

Maggie ID the sweetest, most professional host ever. She greeted me with the upmost professionalism and the sweetest personality. The restaurant is clean and the food and drinks are delicious. Jessica made the most delicious apple martini 🍸

My friend had been raving about this place for a while so I decided to join him for lunch and I was not disappointed. I got the Sushi & Sashimi lunch special and they even allowed me to substitute the California roll. The sushi tasted fresh, every bite was delicious and I was pleased with service. Will be coming back soon!

Great restaurant, attentive staff, gluten-free soy sauce available, substitutions okay. We sat and talked for hours, no hassling. Definitely going back!

The fish is ordered on daily basis which keeps the sushi fresh. Newly renovated and accommodate large groups. This restaurant is definitely a must need in port washington!

The hot plates here are really amazing! The Szechuan cuisine here is a must try. So glad we have a legit chinese food place in port washington now!

Food, sushi platter so fresh! Large banquets to sit, pretty cherry tree picture on wall! Very relaxing & excellent service! Always good!

Best sushi in the area! They have a great supply of high quality fish, including uni, sweet shrimp, toro, etc. The staff is very flexible in terms of substitutions due to dietary restrictions, and if something is out of stock they always call back. Very unique rolls too (love the Blue Pacific and San Fran). Only downside is when it comes to cooked food - they don't always have what's on the menu, or might be a bit confused on a dish - but the sushi and raw items are really amazing. I believe they're under new ownership now, but both the old and new staff/chefs are great.

The raw fish and ingredients were fresh and the chefs used a minimal amount of rice in creating their sushi rolls. I don't think I could have asked for a better preparation!

Order: Sushi avocado roll; yellowtail avocado roll; Wizard of Oz roll.

Dinner with my ❤! We had soup dumplings, spicy tuna appetizer, shrimp with broccoli and house pad thai. Delicious and definitely the pad should be shared. Big portion!!
So happy we could dine 🍽 in now.

This place has great sushi -- especially the peppered, seared tuna and touro. The prices are also great. They give half-price on your second beer. Quality + Price = five stars.

Takeout Chinese food was very good. Our favorite Japanese Sushi been going there for years, us tonight wanted Chinese at home. Not at all disappointed.
