LaMotta’s Dockside Restaurant

We've been doing the Eastern Loop with SV Jenna's Journey and decided it was too hot to cook a decent meal in our galley where we were on the town moorings (an inexpensive option for those of you on a tight budget when away).

The walk from the town dock drop off, along the Bay Walk Nautical Art Museum .. wow. While for some it might be a bit of a walk to Dirty Taco's .. it was well worth it. We did take the water taxi from the marina dock back to our mooring ball afterwards though, since it was getting dark. Win! Win!

Greeted by the owner Phil and taken care of by the most wonderful Lexi 🥰 (a cat lover like ourselves )and had the best meal, drinks, and wish they had a franchise back in my small town in Ontario. Her recommendations were spot on! The chef and wait staff there, couldn't ask for better service, making you feel welcome!

You won't be disappointed (try their special IPA they maybe 🤔 only served that night .. just ask), if you are a rush rush rush person, just be prepared to wait. Enjoy the scenery (great artwork ... I've shared a few in this review). Food is prepared fresh, and as a Type 1 Diabetic of almost 60 years (FatCatAnna is my ✒pen name) .. my blood sugars stayed stable as I write this review .. 5.3 / 95!

Great outdoors by the dock, tacos, service and a COOL atmosphere. Will definitely come back. A MUST VISIT!!

This place was delicious. The New England clam chowder was so good and I’m not a big fan of fish but the fish and chips were delightful. I would definitely have it if I go back there. The time to sit down was pretty long but the bar was open right away and the service was quick there.

We came out to see our friends band "Good Grief " at La Motta's restaurant. We sat out on the deck over looking the water and watched the sun go down. The food was really, really Good! I had the lobster corn dogs, which melt in your mouth..

Very nice place tucked away in Port Washington but worth the trip. The staff here are very nice too!

Nice place... we were early like 3pm and not much people... at sundowns said toget packed... good tasty food.

Local gem. Hard to find place by the water. Fresh sea food, oysters, soft shell crabs, full bar, tap beer. Parking right in front. Great service. Welcoming and cozy place with amazing views on marina

Great restaurant with an awesome atmosphere. The service was phenomenal, Lexi not only served but gave us tips on what to see and do around Port Washington. The food was fresh, tasty and as described on their menu. Thank you for the nice experience.

Great night out at Lamottas last night with friends to see my friend's rock band! Good food we had Nonna's meatballs, salad and burgers and surprisingly good acoustics for an outdoor concert!

I love the Dirty Taco in Rockville Center. This one is even bigger, with a larger selection of food and drinks, and an amazing north shore view. Not to mention the high energy vibe. A great place for a night out. Phil took great care of us.

I was here for Cancer Cares annual Morhers Day Brunch! Always a great afternoon! The views are amazing the waiters are very sweet they treat you like family! The food is spectacular anything you choose from their menu is delicious!. Below shirley Temple and Mimosa

Amazing food, even better atmosphere

Now Dirty Taco. My first time here and the food was great! Nice portions. The mango margarita was delicious. Beautiful scenery of the Manhasset Bay Marina.

Great atmosphere. Every thing was masked, clean, social distancing on point. Delicious lobster and baked clams. Music 🎶 was good too

Awesome margaritas and delicious tacos! You have to wait for a table but it's totally worth it!

Great addition to the Port Washington food scene. Loved everything about this place. We can't wait to go back.

Best of the waterfront restaurants, friendly family owned operated with good food and pleasant service. Live Bands in the Summer on most Weekend.
