This is a hidden GEM in Port Washington!
Used to pass by it for a few years without knowing what kind of food it had.
Glad I finally was able to stop by and see what they had.
The staff was very warm and promptly seated us.
First was the thin crust pizza. I was in love!
It was amazing. And I am NOT a pizza person but this was truly delicious. Must be the sauce 😊.
Then we ordered red beet salad and a special fish dish.
I was definitely impressed. And have since been back numerous times.
They also have a vast assortment of wines that can rival any manhattan restaurant.
Prices are very reasonable which is a definite +.

Love this restaurant! We went for a birthday party and we left saying how great the day was from start to finish! Food and staff were exceptional, the atmosphere is cozy comfortable this is certainly a go to for anyone visiting Port Washington Village. A must go to !

Most delicious restaurant and every time I’ve come here it’s hard to choose because literally everything is truly DELICIOUS!! Definitely a fave is the thin crust pizza. Great vibe too, well-worth a dine-in visit.

10/10 food, service, and atmosphere. Lamb chops to die for. Traditional Italian dishes that will leave your mouth watering. Cauliflower flower pizza is an amazing gluten free alternative. Absolutely love this place. We come all the way from manhattan, a must stop when in Long Island

Hands down the best italian food i’ve ever had, along with amazing service and a great atmosphere for dates and family meals.
The drinks are amazing, the food is delicious and the portions are very big and actually satisfying! Finally a place that actually gets me satisfied and full!

I have been in Italy in June. Then I have been recommended this restaurant by owner of the place I rented during visit or NYC. I felt like I came back there. Would recommend to anyone wishing discover Italian cuisine.

A local gem Always a special treat. Ask the owners if you have special dietary needs and they do their best to accommodate. It's been over 20 years and still a favorite. Enjoy!

Amazing food, great and attentive service and good atmosphere. A well-rounded wine and spirits offering and daily specials that keep you coming back for your favorites as well as try new fare. A great place for a date night out or a family gathering. Everything is great!

This restaurant is our go to place. The staff are phenomenal and the food is not only very good but fairly priced. Drinks are tasty and the ambiance is cozy! I highly recommend this ‘diamond in the rough’ of Port Washington!

The chicken parmigana sandwich was spectacular I was totally full after eating it..full of chicken really good sauce not to much cheese&the bread was still warm on the inside &crisp on the outside, would definitely go back for take out

Even, in the most difficult times, this restaurant sets itself at part. Helping the community and offering the same great food and service as usual. Sticking, with all the new rules to keep everyone safe, they offer free delivery, curbside pickup, and obviously in store pickup. Save a trip to the liquor store and get a bottle of wine with you delivery, or pick one up at the restaurant. The selection is nice and prices were just as good as a liquor store. We always enjoyed this restaurant and we can't wait to rejoin them in their dining room. Thanks guys and stay safe.

Very good Italian food. Really good pizza. Love their flat pizza. Place was crowded on Saturday night when my wife and I were there at 6 PM on Saturday night. Got busier as the time went on. I would definitely recommend you make a reservation. Portions were large and very filling. The wait staff was very friendly and professional. Give them a shot and I don't think you're going to be disappointed.

Very good Italian food, some of the best on the north shore. With Italian restaurants in high volume, few do it as well (with as reasonable prices) as Pepe Rosso. Also not a stuffy haute atmosphere. Warm and welcoming. Their gnocchi is top notch and all their meats very fresh

This is an edit : We moved out of town almost 2 years ago but decided to come back to celebrate my daughter's 6th birthday and we LOVED it ! They recently renovated and it's beautiful inside ! But let's get down to the food and service. 5 stars across the board ! Forget driving an hour into the city for a good meal. This is definitely on par with any Italian food joint you can think of. Started off with arancini and calamari fritti for Dinner my wife and i both had the specials and they were spectacular! (One was black farfalle with artichoke ,nutfree pesto shrimp and buratta . The other was veal scaloppine with ravioli) The kids had farfalle with pomodoro , with a side of meatballs . Dessert we were presented with a nice stracciatella in a waffle bowl with a candle for my daughter's birthday. Then we ordered the chocolate pecan pie along side the Molton lava cake . Again everything was perfect and on point! Service matches the food and decor.
Definitely need to mention the special drinks . I had a smoked Negroni and it was so good I needed one more before I left!
The wife a watermelon margarita and she was very happy with it .
Michael the owner is great with his customers . He watches over everything to make sure it's perfect.

Love this place .... It's our go to for Italian food In Port . Last night we tried their Sicilian pie and it was amazing ! We also ordered their hot Antipasto and I was impressed with the amount of calamari that was in the tray with 2 shrimp 2 baked clams and 2 stuffed mushrooms.
Addition to review. Ordered some catering from them yesterday and it was absolutely amazing. The half tray or rice balls was a complete hit with my Sicilian side of the family ! The baked clams as always are always nicely stuffed and the clams are always a good size! They always go above and beyond with their quality of food!
