Ayhan's Mediterranean Marketplace

Felt like I was transported to another world with the fresh food they serve. Picked up some of their baked goodies and salads to bring back home. We arrived there around 09h30 after the Labour Day weekend and it was a breath of fresh air to sit and enjoy the view and freshly made food!

Had a very relaxing long lunch with a friend. We walked past the food in the display cases as we walked towards the dining room and wanted to try everything! Picked a cozy table by the windows so we could look out at the water as we caught up with each other.
We both ordered the lemon chicken soup which was nothing short of perfection. It tasted amazing from the first spoonful to the last. Warm and oh so comforting. Highly recommend this soup.
Shared hummus and pita bread which we both enjoyed. My friend ordered a hamburger and I got my favorite salad with the dried cranberries, candied nuts, gorgonzola cheese and balsamic dressing. The salad portion was so big I shared with my friend who loved it!
I have been going to the Mediterranean Market since they opened. My friend can't wait to go again the next time she is in town. On the way out she ordered a take out meal for her and her husband for dinner. Loved our afternoon girls lunch.

Picked up bacon/egg/cheese bagels for breakfast and they were very tasty! Will definitely be back for more.

The Mediterranean food here is also very good. Didn't pick up any this trip, but did 2 years ago while in Port Washington.

Excellent food and service. We had the salmon, greek salad, chicken lemon soup, chicken cutlet & rice and three types of baklava. All excellent and the service by Michael, Adrian and Jose was professional, quick and friendly. Would highly recommend. Thank you.

Beautiful and delicious place to grab lunch

Nice cafe with interior space with generous seating over looking Port Washington. We came in the coldest day of the Winter, but could image the view and the vibrant scene during the Summer months. We had some traditional desserts and Turkish coffee which was refreshing and sweet.

Really surprised at the presentation when you order for sit down and it was delicious! We had the Apple Chicken and Mandarin Chicken. Great value for $12 each. The photos don’t do it justice

The food is always fresh. I did order a salad with soup. This time I just wanted the topings not the lettuce as i call it the filler with no benefit. I was told I couldn't do that. I'm paying for it and I'm the customer? Guess I can request that!! Its certainly not going to stop me from going back.

Great views from a down to earth Greek/Turkish Resturant. Choose carefully and you can have a very enjoyable meal at a very fair price. I especially like the lentil and chicken soups. The salad, pick three and the egg options are all good choices.

The food is fresh and delicious the view is incredible.... however staff could use some training a little bit rude and they kind of ignore you I had to get their attention which would be ok if they were busy but they were not they were talking umongst eachother while myself and another person waited... hopefully manager sees this and makes a change this place the food is delicious and so worth it just get service to Match

We love this market. The deli is just filled with unusual foods! I love the fried eggplant. The humus wrap was delicious.

I dipped in here my first visit to Port Washington and it was a fantastic welcome. I had a lamb kebab, some mushrooms, and potatoes, and simple as it was it was absolutely AMAZING. Every bit was delectable, I couldn't even stop to savor it. Generous portions, great prices, extremely kind and friendly staff in a beautiful quaint location. I will absolutely be returning the next time I am in the area!

Mediterranean deli, with friendly counter staff, ample seating, and warm atmosphere.

Great food and great customer service. There's a dining area in the back that looks over the bay which makes for a great lunch time escape. Everything I've ever tried here has been fresh and delicious. It a must if your passing through Port Washington.

Always good. Ayhan was sitting near the door doing paperwork and chatting with customers. All the staff for that matter want to make sure that the food and service are excellent. The dining area is one of the most perfect places in Port Washington to sit and have a meal.

The Greek salad was the freshest ever! Love the view of the water, very nice!

The food is yummy and many variaties, the place is nice. The price also affordable.
