The food is spectacular, to put it mildly. The tortillas we tried were a revelation, offering a burst of flavors that I can only describe as mind-blowing. They managed to elevate a simple dish into something extraordinary, and that’s a testament to the chef’s skill and ingenuity.

Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, the desserts arrived and exceeded every expectation. Each bite was a journey through layers of flavor and texture that left us speechless. I’d say they were above and beyond what one would typically expect from a dessert menu.

None of this would be possible without the incredible staff, who orchestrated the whole experience like a well-conducted symphony. Their attentiveness and skill were evident in every interaction, adding another layer of magic to an already unforgettable experience.

got the school house burger. so dang good. 0nly been a few times and both times great food.

My wife and I have been twice this year. Both times were very enjoyable. Timely food, well prepared. Very clean and a well organized staff. Truly a hidden gem of sorts in the Catskills. Going back in the early fall with the parents coming in from Florida.

This place was recommended to us to stay local when visiting a friend who has a summer house in the area. We had no idea how adorable this place would be! We opted for the King room (suite) which had a jacuzzi and sauna, our own back porch and backyard area and it was truly lovely! The price was a bit high but it was a holiday weekend so that's understandable. The restaurant seemed very popular but we chose not to eat there as we are animal lovers and there were stuffed taxidermy creatures in every inch of the place. That part wasn't for us... They do have a cute outdoor seating area though... All in all we were very happy and it was a wonderful experience!!! 😊

We stopped for lunch on a very busy Sunday. Only 2 waitresses that worked their hearts out and did an amazing job. Everything was amazing. Food was cooked as ordered. The bathrooms were large and clean. We loved looking at all the souvenirs from so many hunting trips.

The room we stayed in had two Queens size beds and the best shower I have ever experienced. The Burgers at the restaurant are simply awesome and Delicious. Meghan was very helpful.

Amazing burgers. We take the family there for weekend afternoon lunches. Service is great, booze is great, prices are reasonable. For covid, they offer outdoor seating with umbrellas. A great time, with a great view.

The burgers are so good because they raise their own Longhorns!

The decor inside the restaurant is very cool - lots of giant taxidermy. Make sure you head downstairs to the restrooms for a big surprise!

Awesome food and bar. Great atmosphere. Plenty of parking. Good service. Wheelchair ramp in back. Dine inside or outside weather permitting. Would recommend highly for anyone to visit.

What a GREAT place! We have been driving past this place for 30 years and never stopped-what a missed opportunity! Great food and drinks and extremely helpful and friendly staff. They were eager to accommodate our special requests. THE BEST WINGS (from serious Wing Afficianados).

We were a crowd of 17 motorcycle riders ,we stopped in for lunch we had reservations, the food is amazing,they're very generous with fries. All wooden panels inside, taxidermy all over the place. Excellent service, large outdoor eating area too, big parking lot. Reasonably price

Superb food and beverage choices. The service is personal and they are not fusy on helping you taylor your meal. This is my second visit here and it continues to shine as a fine restaurant.

Our first time to the Schoolhouse! Loved the woodwork and the taxidermy! Started with drinks and the calamari. Both were good. The calamari was lightly breaded and fresh. On to the dinner...prime rib was cooked to our specification . There was a hint of rosemary. Not really what we like but the meat was tender and flavorful. Forgot the salad bar...lots of choices and peel and eat shrimp. Dessert was a creme brulee cheesecake...yum! We will definitely be returning!

This restaurant is A+ ! We had the filet mignon and roasted red potato special and the schoolhouse burger, then the Reese's pie and the Oreo pie for dessert - the food was delicious and our server, Meg, was very attentive and friendly! Quick service and a quaint, clean atmosphere. Don't miss out!

Stopped in there on a Sunday after dropping my daughter back at school. A real nice place. Friendly staff, excellent food.
