Houghton / Letchworth KOA

The owner truly cares about your comfort and caters to your every need! He even took the time to learn my name, gave insights into where to find supplies and made great conversation. Despite being caught in a rainy season, the owner did everything he could to ensure we could make the most of our stay and found us a Cosy spot by the pond huddled amongst the trees. A great spot to bring the family or even just couples!

My family and I camped here for a few days in a deluxe cabin. This campground is the most peaceful one I’ve ever stayed at. It is very clean, well maintained and the staff are very friendly. We appreciated all the extras in the deluxe cabin - like a coffee maker, microwave and plenty of hooks to hang wet towels. The heated salt water pools were great! We also loved the rec room to play billards, video games, puzzles, etc. Our favorite was the poly pong table. Everything is close and convenient with a playground across from our cabin along with a new bath house that has several (very clean) unisex bathrooms with showers. Plus a laundry room - so convenient! We loved the “woodsy” feel around our cabin - not too open or too rustic. And plenty of space between cabins to not feel crowded in. Will likely book it again in the future.

Great campground. We had a small issue with our camper. The owner stopped by and helped us resolve the issue. The owner was very hospitable and very welcoming. The staff were always pleasant and asking if we needed anything. Ian and Kayla two of the ground keepers always had a smile ,a friendly wave and a couple of minutes to talk with us. The campground is very well maintained . Great pools, game room and camp store. Thank you to the owner and staff for making our 6 day stay very enjoyable. We will be back.

WOW this is a Beautiful campground! This place is a great destination for quiet leisurely vacation. With on site fishing, walkable trails, and bird watching galore. Many activities And an amazing lodge with games, a great store and 2 pools. Bathrooms are new and very clean. Staff is friendly and accommodating and make you feel like family. Surely a wonderful camping experience and KOA should be very proud of this location!

A great little campground! Staff was wonderful, very helpful and accommodating. Owner was very nice as well as the camp host Ian and his wife. Individual bathrooms/showers were clean. Did a day trip to Niagara Falls and another to Letchworth state park…Take what you need with you, not a lot nearby but I would definitely stay again if in the area.

Great campground with owners who really strive to keep their campers happy. From themed weekends, events, play areas for the kids....you can't be bored while there! Recommend 150%!!!!

Very well kept campground! Lots to do; with swimming pools, a fishing pond, playground, trails, cornhole, basketball hoop, definitely not boring! We stayed here for a planned trip to Letchworth State Park and got a great tent site and Tom was very welcoming! Absolutely recommend this campground!!

The owners are wonderful! They are friendly, accommodating and helpful. The campground is centrally located for so many great things to do. Everything was clean and well maintained. The rec area was fun for a rainy evening for my family to play some foosball and air hockey. The owner graciously kept it open later for us to enjoy!

This is our second time camping here and we had a BLAST! Great RV spot, clean restrooms/shower rooms, family activities, 2 pools, fishing and playgrounds! We were here Memorial Day weekend and the bands were so much fun! Full campground and everyone was respectful of quiet times and areas. The Stroh family are incredible hosts and will go above and beyond for their guests. Camp here, you will not be disappointed!

Just up the street from Houghton University. Very friendly staff. Fun activities and great kids playground with nearby sites-super clean bathrooms with nice showers. Have been going here last couple of years.

I stayed at the Houghton/Letchworth KOA last weekend when I was at a horse show and loved it so much that my family joined me this weekend. Last week I brought my tent and this weekend we rented Coneflower cabin. The cabin and all of the facilities were incredibly clean, the owners are lovely and there are many wonderful amenities including the pool! We will be back and plan on recommending Houghton/Letchworth KOA to everyone!

This was one of the best KOA I been too. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I loved the activities that you had for the kids. My daughter enjoyed the slip and slide. It was nice to the see the kids playing together. Cabin was awesome and very clean. Bathrooms were clean and nice. Very peaceful and quiet. Thank you for a great weekend we had and we will be back. My daughter wanted to stay forever

This was our second trip to this wonderful campground and yet again we had a wonderful time! What I find lacking in most campgrounds are the beautiful trees, foliage, shade, and that true "camping" feeling. I love that their sites are nestled in between trees with firepits in the back of the campsite within the trees (they have sites that are not of this type if that is what you prefer). The staff is incredibly friendly and there are many activities to do. My daughter loves the playground and 90% of the campground has full hookups. My family has decided that this is by far our most favorite campground. We look forward to coming back many times in the future!

It's the owners and employees that make this place. Everyone treats you like family. Will absolutely stay here the next time we visit Letchworth. As long as Ian promises to cook more burgers! 😂

Beautiful full hookup campground! Very peaceful. Nice, well stocked catch and release fishing pond. Gorgeous salt water pool, plus a small indoor pool for rainy days. The facilities are clean and well kept, from bathrooms to laundry to picnic tables....and more. Friendly owners. The campsites are a little too close to each other, but good. Very nice playgrounds and pavilion areas. Big, fenced in dog run. Very nice, family friendly campground.....would definitely come again!

Great park with spacious sites. Felt very safe and secure at this location. Great access to Letchworth State Park and we love the small towns and hamlets in the area.

We had a fabulous stay at the Houghton / Letchworth KOA. Our hosts Tom, Karin, and their daughter were so very kind and helpful - you couldn’t ask for better. This was our second trip out with our new trailer and of course we didn’t have the extension cable for the 30 amp service, Tom loaned us one. We didn’t have the coax cable for the TV, Tom loaned us one. We booked a site that was across from the playground, well, we are past the young children stage in our lives and were traveling with my mother (who is 92) as well, Tom asked if we’d like a quieter site - the new location was perfect, and a pull through - even better! We rented a golf cart so I could take my mother around the grounds and it really came in handy - she loved seeing the whole camp facility, not just our site. We enjoyed the Bingo activity - brought back a lot of memories for my mother and seeing the families and their children enjoying the game as well was a lot of fun. The pool looked inviting but we didn’t swim this trip. There was plenty of grassy areas for dog walking, including a fenced in area for them to run in and an additional area with agility equipment set up. The only thing that could have made this trip better would have been more time to spend there. We are planning our trip for next season to be at least 4 or 5 days so we could take time to see some of the local sites and hopefully share a glass of wine with our hosts. You can tell they put their heart and souls into making this a very special camping experience for families.

About a 20 minute drive to Letchworth from this campground. Great owners. He checks in on campers and introduced himself, and offered if we need anything to see him. Spacious campground where you don't feel jammed up next to other campers. We also appreciate the very clean and new restrooms.

This place was great! everything was very clean and the staff was friendly and visible. They had nice activities for the kids and the two pools allowed folks to spread out so there was room for all. The kids loved the pond for fishing and the Gaga ball pit. Bonus they had private bathrooms with toilet and shower and they were super clean.

We stayed there 4 nights and it was very nice . Kids were enjoying the pool and played inside with toys as well. Owners are very nice people. This location is very clean and well maintained. We will visit again next summer.
