I'd been looking for a place like this for years! As a current owner of a Tiguan, Jetta, Eurovan, A3, and a vintage Beetle the new car dealers are just too expensive for routine maintenance, and finding a tech who could fix the Audi without needing a second mortgage was just as tough...
I'm not paying $150 for a replacement pollen filter anymore! Randy and his team know what they are doing. They know my service schedule Ann's won't do unnecessary repairs. I can send my wife there without worry wheel be ripped off.
But most importantly, it gets fixed. Every time. That simple. I'll take it to the dealer for warranty repairs, but otherwise it's North Jersey Motorwerks.

I haven't owned a vw/audi in a handful of years but I've had nothing but good experiences dealing with Randy Neumann and Malcom. I could write a 5 page review on all the top notch service they performed on my family, friends or my own vehicles.. they always helped out in a pinch and would give you the shirt off their back or ball joint splitter out of the tool chest if you were stranded on the side of the road!

Knowing of this shop has kept my VW on the road for over 15 years and has saved me a ton of money! Randy, Malcom, and Newman really know what they are doing and have found unique and efficient solutions to the issues that have come up with my car. I trust them completely and the pricing is always very fair. If you have a VW, this shop should be your first and only call - worth the distance if you live a little further away as well.

Randy is the most trusted specialty mechanic in North West New Jersey; an ikon in the VW/Audi enthusiast community.

Came to the shop expecting VW specialists. I have only heard good things about Randy (online), and when I met him, I honestly liked the guy. He is not the one that will be working on your car. Neuman is the only one from what I can tell that works on the cars. I had a full suspension put on, and the front struts where not put together correctly. Both the dust boot and the lower spring seat were omitted from the strut assembly. The only reason that makes any sense is he did not want to take the time to get parts from the old assembly. This is even after I communicated and provided the instructions to him. When I talked to Randy on the phone about the issue, he was clearly upset and even muttered "what a nightmare" (mine apparently). At the time, I thought, ok he will make it right. Instead in a text from another number, he indicated to be him, he contacted Bilstein and that I can run the strut without a dust boot contrary to the clear installation instructions. Citing that the strut has a triple wiper seal, which is true. I also contacted Bilstein and spoke to both an install tech and the head of North American Quality about the issue and they both indicated that the dust boot should be used and there is not a good reason not to include it. It offers protection against rocks, salt, rain ect. Installing this part would mean that the strut assembly would have to be taken apart again, and he didn't want to deal with it. The spring seat could be sneaked in and that was the only thing he admitted to it needing. This was after I already told him it did need to go in. He has fist said "Sorry I don't believe that" via text and said he would call Bilstein. I should not have to go through this to have the work I paid for be done right. I drew a hard line and told him I want both the dust boot and spring seat addressed I would come today and that I would wait. I get a response - "No you can't had to be next week". My trust has been long exhausted and the money I wasted is no longer worth it, so I scheduled the work elsewhere. Nothing about my experience or interactions made me feel like he was taking proper ownership of the problem. The address of the actual shop is 338 Liberty Rd Stewartville NJ and not what is listed. He doesn't update it for whatever reason.
