Food was very good. Staff was extremely attentive and friendly. Overall a very nice dinner with the family. French onion soup was well seasoned. The seafood fra diavolo special was great!

Celebrated my son Alex’s birthday this evening along with my family. The service and the food was delicious. Our waitress was very nice and promptly served us. The calamari appetizer was outstanding. The 16oz steak was delicious. Strongly recommend this restaurant.

Service was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. Had the best BBQ burger. It was fresh & cooked perfectly. Price point was so affordable. Glad we wondered onto this spot. Will definitely go back.

Lamp Post Inn is FANTASTIC! We recently had a reception here for our son's baptism. Sal (the owner) was a pleasure to work with. He was very responsive, helpful, and very patient with all my questions and inquiries. The room we had was perfect for our guest list of about 45 adults and 15 kids (10+ were under the age of 9!) Everyone RAVED about the food which was your normal buffet food. However, this was the best buffet food I have ever had! The chicken francize was my personal favorite. Our minimalist decorations were perfect for the intimate space and getting to be in the space early was perfect! Our servers went above and beyond for all our guests. I will definitely be coming back for my next gathering!

This is my girlfriends and I’s favorite pizza place. We get it every single time we come up here. It’s always crafted so good, the sauce always tastes fresh, the crust is always crispy, the cheese is always stringy and the best, the best amount of pepperoni added on top. It’s only $11.99 for a large pie. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who comes by. The pizza fries are also bomb. Check out this place, it won’t ever disappoint

4.5 stars. Spacious restaurant serving a wide variety of italian fare. The shrimp & scallop scampi, as well as the crab filled shrimp, tasted very good. The mushroom soup was okay.

My family asked me where I wanted to go for my 40 birthday. We made a reservation here for 10 people and got a table in the back dining room. The decor and ambiance is beautifully done and welcoming and there is a fireplace.

It's of course no secret how great this restaurant is as it was filled to the rafters on a Saturday evening. Despite it being full I never felt that it was crowded as there was adequate space between the tables do not hear others conversations for bump into anybody in maneuvering around.

The waitress was very friendly and professional. We didn't feel rushed at all but as soon as we were ready we gave our appetizer order. The drinks were of course right away and the appetizers soon after. I was surprised how efficient the kitchen was with a restaurant full of patrons.

The food was absolutely incredible I had planned on getting the prime rib special because I heard it was to die for but I ended up choosing the baby back ribs because hey it was my birthday after all!
I started off with an Appletini, hot mussels as an appetizer, and then the ribs. Everyone at the table said their food was incredible. We finished with espressos and they got me a lava cake dessert and saying happy birthday. I was stuffed and had plenty to take home for lunch the next day.
My 97 year old grandma was our special guest attendee. She is in a wheelchair and they gave us the table closest to the door to the hall so taking her to the restroom would be easy, which it was. They even let us use a table that look like it was set up to make coffee for the gifts.

After our amazing dinner some of my guests left for the long drive home but my 5 year old daughter, 97 year old grandma, fun biker aunt, my mom and myself stayed and took our party to the bar where the harrisons were playing live music. Really great band and fun lively atmosphere at the bar.

In conclusion I'm sure all the locals know about this long-running gem of a restaurant. If you're from out of town or are new to the area make it a priority to check this place out, it might just be your favorite!

Love The Lampost. One of our fav restaurants. Good comfort food- pizzas, American Italian. Good bands. Great for special events too. Sal, the owner is the best.

Staff is kinda slow bringing food/drinks. Last time there, we ordered drinks and they never came back with them. Asked for the drinks again, and I was charged for 4 drinks instead of 2. It was immediately fixed, but if it's busy, the staff is extremely slow and forgetful

We have been going to the Lamp Post for nearly 26 years. Now my kids love it. Always great food. One of my favorites is the Filet mignon with buttermilk bacon chive sauce(not pictured).Good relaxed atmosphere especially when there is live music coming from the bar.

Absolutely glad we decided to stop here. The atmosphere was fantastic and we really enjoyed the live music. We ran a 31 mile race earlier in the day and wanted a good burger. The burgers were huge, flavorful and the bun was tasty too. Loved the fries. Great service and great food.

The place was not that busy. We could have had better service. At one point. She even said she wasn't charging me for refills and charged me for a refill. We waited quite a while to get our check to the point my dad had to wait by the kitchen door for somebody to come out. They like come out of the kitchen and go right into that bar area instead of checking on anybody. As soon as the food came out within 2 minutes somebody asked how things were and then never checked on us again until we needed the check. Food was good. Not sure that we will go back because better service elsewhere

Ordered take out at 535 pm told would be 40 minutes arrived at 615pm paid and waited and waited......only when I wanted to cancel did I get my order at about 700pm get home to find didn't put salads in bag

Need to be updated the outside. ( nice new coat of paint) Upon entering the restaurant, it was very nice inside, and the food was good.

First time here but it won't be the last!

I've grown with this place as a resident of Vernon NJ. The head chef is doing superb and the staff is all home town friendly.
