I love this place..always very nice..I would rather support small businesses...although I must do a few..she is a sweetheart and her prices are great for toys..treats..and other supplies.

I bought my husky here two years ago. The owner was very knowledgeable and cares greatly about the animals. She made sure my dog had a proper home and made sure I knew 100 percent what to expect by owning a husky before allowing me to purchase him.

Barbara is awesome. So friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I bought two young parakeets and she took the time to set them up and help me with all of their needs. I will be back!!

My hubby and I have been going to Barb for a while now for all of our pets care needs. We recently purchased a Leopard Gecko and he is very happy and healthy. These ladies are knowledgeable and pleasant! I highly recommend stopping in! ❤

Barbara was cheerful and knowledgeable while dealing with one customer at a time. We bought our puppy from her and she is an absolute doll. “Aunt” Barb knew a lot about her habits and personality, which is extremely useful in her training. Her employees are very friendly, and the small store is kept clean. I was very happy to have our puppy’s lineage and appreciate that she’s been chipped. Barb packed up a goodie bag for us and let us know about the puppy’s favorite toys. We normally purchase our dogs from a breeder, but are thrilled with The Critter Place. 😀

I took my 6 year old son here to get some sort of Reptile. Barb took the time and explained the pros and cons of everything she had. We ended up getting a Monitor. She even took the time to personally help him set up the tank. We left with a new pet and educated on how to properly take care of them.

I bought my bearded dragon Agnes from critter place on 2/14, the owner helped me with everything that I would need. My dragon is very happy and healthy. Thank you for all your help.

Found this place recently, great place for my reptile food, always have Crickets, Superworms, and Goliath worms, also saw waxworms, nice people, love supporting small businesses!

I contacted Critter Place to help our family find a female Boston Terrier puppy. Barb put us on her Puppy Wish List and went out of her way to find the perfect puppy for us! She involved us in every step of the process, even sending us photos of puppies she found so we could pick the new addition to our family! Thank you so much for your help Critter Place! I highly recommend them!

We absolutely love Critters place!! Bought our hamster there and we just love her! Best crickets around too!! So very pleasant and welcoming!

Love it. Upon entering one may think it's a rather small store: on the contrary, they make excellent use of the space. They have a great selection of fish accessories including meds, decor, filtration/pumps, the works. Excellent (and great priced) reptile accessories. Bird related items are on the low side, but more than enough to hold you over until a trip to Petco/Amazon order arrives!

The staff are 100% on their game, very friendly and most of all knowledgeable.

If your looking for fish, don't let the current stock deter you: they can order a wide variety of fish (not to mention they can get them younger AND cheaper than the larger stores down the highway)

Overall an A++ from me. I stop in every other day for crickets for my bearded dragon (purchased there as well).

Whether it's a one time stop or a regular routine, this store can easily accommodate you!!

My favorite pet store! Employees are fantastic! Its a very clean place! I buy all my feeder rats and feeder insects there and all are always in good health! I would highly recommend this store to anyone with pets and looking for a pet!

Great local pet shop, staff are always pleasant and eager to chat. I use to go to the other pet store on 23 before I move further into Vernon and am very pleased with this store.

Was a fantastic lil place. I am not from the area and found the selection of available pets to be great, I can't find rats in my area at all so they were a pleasure to see. Reptiles and a couple puppies too. I would love to stop in again.

Friendly staff. Small selection of fresh water fish. Live pets (mice, lizards, etc.) available for sale, as well as necessities for them and others pets like cats and dogs.

Great careing workers. Also have the stuff other pet places do not carry and if they are out they have no problem getting you those items
