Comfortable old school bar and grill vibe, with classic burger and salad menu items to accompany a wide range of drinks. Yuengling on tap was nice to wash down a satisfying ahi tuna salad. The veggie burger was seared well with hot salty fries. Friendly service. Looked like a chill bar. Nice spot for lunch or dinner. Inside and outside seating.

I hadn't been there in a long time. We were seated right away and our order taken when we were ready. A wide variety for appetizers and main courses. Warning... I asked for a bowl of the tomato basil thinking it would be a little bigger than the cup. I was wrong... It was a lot bigger (which is a good thing). The food arrived in a timely fashion exactly how it was ordered and very good. Serving size was decent enough that everyone took something home (I think the soup did me in). Anyway, I highly recommend going there with the family or just for two.

I visited Old Man Raffertys in Hillsborough on a Saturday evening. We started off the night with the perogies w/ bacon. I must say these were cooked to perfection. Nice soft potatoes in a grilled shell of a perogie. The bacon was crispy but not over cooked. It paired very nicely with the sour cream. I had the cheeseburger sliders and it was very filling. It wasn’t a traditional slider, they were making double cheeseburger sliders. It included fries which were unique in shape (swirl but not a curly fry). The mashed potatoes were delicious, held a fancy shape. The mashed were silky smooth with no chunks. Getting brown gravy is a must.

Ordered grilled salmon, delicious and truly grilled, not oily or anything. Also, special ordered cocktails that were made exactly to specifications. Definitely recommend.

Great local business with ties to the community. The food is great with a well thought out menu, and the people are awesome. Our waitress Rachel was amazing, never wrote down a thing but got our order perfect. Will continue to come back again and again.

I cannot thank the staff, especially Rachel, enough. Everyone went above and beyond for my daughter-in-law’s baby shower, held outside under the tent. Every person who attended could not have had kinder words for their experience. The food was exceptional and staff beyond attentive. Thank you to ALL!!

My family and I (17 of us) were there for Easter brunch. The entire team from busboys, to servers, to hostesses were outstanding!! Food was delicious! Thank you all!

Outstanding service, very casual dining / bar experience. One of my favorite "wind-down" locations. Take out is also super simple and affordable through their website if you're just looking to grab and go.

I've left my wallet with quite some cash in it, on my table the other day. It was givemln back to the office and I was able to retrieve all my cards and ID.

I have lived in the area for about 3 years and my first time here was last Friday. It was a really cool place. My sliders were awesome.

Been wanting to try this place for a long time and if was great! Got the big pretzel and wings as apps. Shared a steak sandwich as a main which was so good. The fries are amazing, they are crispy, potatoey and shaped in a twist. Some of the best fries I've ever had. Oreo cake for dessert was delicious. We got the seasonal cocktails which was the perfect fall drink. Would definitely come back.

We were a party of about 15, and although we were gathering after the death of a friend or family member, the experience was great. The waitress was fantastic, and we all enjoyed our lunch.

Food was good tonight. It was quiet here tonight.

Great evening dining outside, wish they had fans but it wasn't uncomfortable due to the tent. Our waitress was super sweet and friendly.

Haven't been back since we moved out of town and stopped by today. We chose to sitboutside on this summer like day. The menu changes look awesome. Had the Mediterranean Platter which was nice portion and all fresh. We shared the lobster roll and was awesome. The cut on the French fries was different as it was crispy like a potato chip but hearty like mashed potatoes. Our server was Lauren, delight to deal with. Friendly, polite, and sense of urgency. Can't wait to go back as the salad section on the menu looks very appetizing.

The portion sizes where big enough for 2 meals. I had the Chicken Elisabeth with the stuffed mushroom appetizer that were specials and they were DELICIOUS!

My husband and I have been patrons of Old Man Rafferty's since our college days at Rutgers back in 1998! We have truly enjoyed taking our boys to share a family meal and reminisce together over the years.

Our most recent visit was on a Sunday evening at the Hillsborough location. A small group of six of us decided to have dinner together after a football game.

It was not too crowded or warm, so we decided to sit outside in their spacious outdoor seating area. Our waitress was just lovely and especially patient considering we were a table of 6 to begin with, 4 of which were energetic and rambunctious teenage boys!

We were all happy with our meal and drink selections, surprise surprise! 😀 The casual feel and relaxed ambiance were just right, our waitress and staff were very attentive throughout even though we were a little far removed outside. The prices are fairly reasonable, especially considering the consistently generous portion sizes and the (high) quality food products they serve.

Although happy (to overhear) a unanimous consensus Old Man Rafferty's a "win," I was simply overjoyed when our youngest said, "Now I'm a big fan, too!"

I had my daughter's baby shower here. From the moment I met with the manager, I was impressed. Dylan worked closely with me answering all of my questions and was very accommodating with my requests. A few days before the event, I spoke directly with the head server that would be overseeing the baby shower to discuss the details (table/room setup, dietary restrictions, etc.). On the day of the event, the wait staff was very friendly, attentive, and professional. In addition to outstanding service, the food was delicious!

We had a reception here after dad's memorial service. The staff was great and everyone loved the food. We had the area off the bar reserved and it was cozy, but worked great. The food came out as promised and I heard many positive comments. The perogis were my favorite, but everything was very tasty. Special shout out to our server, Rachel. She totally crushed it, was fast, friendly and professional. Thank you!
