Norkys Peruvian Restaurant

After church, went to lunching with my two friends Christina and Funmi, my third time and their 1st time at Norkys. What an awesome experience we had! One of the best I must say ! The food was absolutely delicious a burst of flavors! Evelyn our server was very kind and receptive to us making our experience at Norkys very comfortable . Luigi the restaurant. manager kept checking on us making sure we had a great time😊. All In all we had an excellent time. Great atmosphere ! Great service ! Great food!🫶❤

We had dinner with friends and the 4 of us had a great time. First time at this restaurant and the food far exceeded our expectations and so did the service. The Soup was amazing and appetizers were unique and very tasty!

I’ve been looking for another good Pollo à la Brasa place since moving too far from El Chevere in Passaic. This is my place!

My only complaint was that it’s hard to find parking on Main Street in Manville, but I just realized there is a free town parking lot just across the street. Now I have nothing bad to say.

The half chicken with rice and beans meal is perfect and I always add on a large side of the green sauce to keep in my fridge at home.

The employees are always really nice too.

Food is absolutely delicious. Probably best Peruvian food I've tried in the area. The arroz chaufa is excellent and super flavorful. Restaurant is nice, clean and quaint. Servers are attentive and nice (we only sat down in Restaurant once). We've ordered pick up maybe 4 times now and the food is super fresh. Yuca a la huancaina tried twice (once it was a little too dry but the huancaina sauce was super good).

Update: yesterday we sat down with our 10 month old and enjoyed another amazing dinner. All of the food was delicious. The tallarin verde with milanesa de pollo was the best plate I've had anywhere else! Super delicious. The pollo saltado was good, too, although chicken with a little chewy. Would 100% recommend the flan which was sooooo good! The plates all come out promptly, warm and presented very well! Top notch food for sure. The aji verde was delicious too.

The food and the service are top notch. My friends and sisters-Lucy and Funmi went there for a mini celebration this afternoon-Shout out to Evelyn our server , she was absolutely courteous and accommodating. Luigi- the manager checked to ensure we were satisfied: he added joy to our birthday celebration as he organized and led the contingent to sing happy birthday song to my friend - Lucy.

Delicious food, nice variety, my kids love this since we are Peruvian but the prices are absurd!! I can barley feed my kids and now that they have a restaurant where they can eat their favorite foods the prices of the food just keeps getting higher and higher!!CHANGE THIS NOW!!! you just lost a highly valued customer!

This was an amazing experience. The staff were friendly, helpful and courteous .. a rare experience these days to get such service.
Food was authentic, amazingly presented and plentiful.

The roasted chicken was very delicious , the fríes were ok . And salad was Good. The purple chicha was Good. I do recommend Norkys.

The authentic food is one of the best Peruvian I've had, with good variety of selection on the menu. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The place is very clean. The ceviche is excellent and the bisque. There are lots of sides options.
Protip. The combo plates are perfect if you can't make up for mine and want something quick and cheap.

The presentation was nice and the food was tasty although other people in my party did not have the same to say.

Very good attention, well served and delicious dishes. there was a group of Creole music that made our lunch happy.
The tip is suggested in the ticket, they do not charge you abusively like others. I strongly recommend it.

Delicious!! Fresh and savory food! We enjoyed the Peruvian breakfast sampler, Tallarines with chicken, and Ceviche Mixto. Very fresh seafood. The chicha juice was also delicious, Wonderful and friendly staff . Clean bathrooms and table. We will be back for the live band and food soon!

I ordered the Chaufa with carne. OMG the taste is amazing 😍!! The whole environment is warm and welcoming! My family visited today and we were lucky to see a live performance! I will definitely be back!

Excellent food and service. The young lady at the counter was courteous, quick and even apologized for us waiting (there was practically no wait!). She was super professional in how she handled all the customers around. The food came out prompt and freshly prepared. We had a to-go order and were amazed at the flavor and portions.. it reminded us of our travels through Peru. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious, affordable and hearty roast chicken. The picture attached is of combo #1- definitely worth ordering.
