The food was super delicious 😋 The prices are very reasonable , the restaurant is super clean, the atmosphere is very pleasant. The place is unique, so many art , jewelry, beautiful things I was amazed 🤩 plus you can buy this stuff also. I bought amber soaked agar wood chips with fragrant, it smells so good 😊 and I love it. I was lucky to find this place . The food was authentic and was made delightfully delicious and also for take out food they used microwave safe containers, it was really nice , they care about their customers . The owner was very polite and friendly, he offered free sweet snack for me, baklava was very good, they have many varieties of this dessert. So I couldn’t wait to visit this place again.🥰

My family came here for the first time and immediately felt at home with the Egyptian decor and music. We ordered several dishes and everything was delicious. We closed with kunafa topped with goat ice cream, which we all loved. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. We'll definitely be returning

Enjoyed the beef and hummus shawarma. The chips and drinks were also really good. The shawarma had very generous portions of meat and the flavor was tasteful.
The man taking orders and serving was great and very friendly. Everything came out hot and quick!

Very nice decor really gives you a small cafe feel. Shared a mix Veg platter and chicken shawarma with my wife. Both were good. I especially liked the falafel. A word of warning the spicy yogurt sauce is actually very spicy. I have a high spice tolerance but I was sweating after a few bits. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the baklava. It's a personal preference I don't like rose flavored anything. If you are someone who likes that flavoring then I am sure it would be enjoyable.

The Falafel House has become one of our favorite places. Friendly staff and great service deliver delicious food. Eat in and enjoy the Egyptian atmosphere or take out. Either way you will enjoy an amazing meal.
Don't forget the home made chips or dessert.

Sooooooo happy I decided to check this place out! I'm Syrian so it's very hard to find a middle eastern restaurant that I would call authentic. This place brought me home! I felt like my mom was making the food! Everything from the soft, warm, fresh pita, the tender, juicy lamb gryo, to the tahini was so good! My husband had the shrimp and chicken gryo platter and finished every bite! My daughter had the chicken kabob plate and the chicken was super tender and full of flavor! The coffee also made me feel like I was home! 🙏 So grateful to have found this gem. To top it off I got a chance to talk to a family that was there also from the Middle East that reminded me of my family dynamic, which made me feel even more at home! This is one of those small little gems that make the best type of home made food! I will be back every chance i get when I come visit Jersey!

12/10 EAT HERE!!!! I just had the most amazing lunch at Falafel House. I needed a lunch spot close to Sourland Mountain Preserve that was dog friendly and this place was perfect. They had outdoor seating that accommodated everyone AND they even brought out a bowl of water for the doggos. Besides being in a great location and so very kind, the food is AMAZING! Everything on the plates were delicious and beautiful. I had the beef shawarma and my friend had the vegetarian mix platter. Next time, I'm trying the Turkish Delight! Thank you Falafel House for everything!

Amazing food in a cozy restaurant- thoughtful service as well. We had the beef gyro platters with baba ganoush, finished off with Egyptian coffee and halwa.

I’ve now gone with my family twice and absolutely love this place. Food is great with large portions. Great atmosphere. And the service is top tier. Both times we’ve been in the man working has been super helpful and patient with us even when we came in somewhat close to closing. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Happy to find this place during a work trip. Owner was polite and very helpful. The food was delicious, I would highly recommend this place. Local artwork is displayed on the walls for sale. What a great way to help out those in the art community.

This restaurant is a top quality and has great value for money.

We had ordered falafel platter and koshari platters, and I'd like to say we really liked the quality of food served.

We love going to the Falafel House! Every time we go there we get a Gyro platter and a Gyro salad with the lamb Gyro meat. The tomato salad with a special sauce is delicious and so are the stuffed grape leaves. We love the yogurt sauce on the side! We enjoy going to this restaurant to eat, and we also have gotten takeout from there as well. We highly recommend checking it out! Very good, authentic food, and really cool atmosphere!

Hands down one of the best spots we have been to in NJ. Food was so delicious, atmosphere is very cozy and staff was so kind. I love Mediterranean food and you can tell how authentic the food is here!!!

I really like the food here. All menu items are delicious. Last time I ordered a kebab platter, missa'a and Kounefa. I did not tell them not to add Tahini Sauce on the platter(because I don't like it) but I forgot so that kinda ruined the kebab experience for me but that's totally on me 😅.
The decorations are amazing and some of the stuff written there are so funny, I couldn't not take photos of them.
There's parking in front of it and there's always an empty spot. They do takeout too but it's better to call ahead so you don't have to wait there.

So delicious! Love the baklava selection. Great falafel, hummus and babaganoush! Highly recommend!

I drive 25 mins each way to pick up the chicken shawarma platter at The Falafel House. Consistently great and prices are fair. Awesome meal.

The Falafel House is one of my favorite spots to get falafel in the area. Their spicy hummus is incredible and the falafel sandwich is definitely one of the best things on the menu. The homemade potato crisps are the perfect amount of spicy and delicious. I also really enjoy their decor inside the restaurant including all of the artwork. The staff has always been friendly to me and I always stop in after getting my hair cut next door.
