He is always available to answer any questions; he took time to analyze our HVAC requirements after measurements and analysis; went through quotes from other HVAC companies and offered me a great price. Tom kept me up to date from order to delivery and install that was clean. Will surely recommend CoolOMatic for anyone who wants great experience and expert install.

I recently used Cool-O-Matic to replace a 30 year old furnace and AC in my home. I had contacted several contractors and found that the Cool-O-Matic Sales Engineer (Tom) came in with the most reasonable quote for a Carrier 13 SEER AC and furnace. Keep in mind it's 2022 and there's supply chain and staffing issues so I wasn't expecting an installation to be done for another 2 or 3 months. But, Tom told me to contact him after 2 weeks for a status...which I did. He then informed me that they received some 16 SEER Carrier AC units and could upgrade me for the original quote. This was good news for me as now my home receives an upgraded AC unit at the original quote and installed within a month.

Once the installation team came, I found that they came on time; were professional; courteous and really knew what they were doing. The team had made custom made ductwork to fit the new HVAC system, where the old one went, so it wasn't a crude "force fit". They even moved the electric disconnect to the appropriate distance from the outside A/C condenser to meet code requirements.

I recently had to work with Tom and his associates on some minor paperwork items, pertaining to the town's building inspection, and I found them to be very responsive and as a result just passed the building inspection with flying colors. I highly recommend Tom, his associates and Cool-O-Matic for any HVAC related work.

I had Cool-O-Matic install a new HVAC system in my condo. After reading reviews and getting several estimates, I chose them for several reasons. For one, Tom was very knowledgeable and pointed out some potential problems with previous work I had done. He included fixing those issues in my contract. He also was very clear on explaining various types of furnaces, measured everything to be sure I had the correct size, and gave me four options - all of which were less expensive than competitors. He did not pressure me at all, unlike other companies. The installers were very nice, polite and respectful. They wore masks and were extremely careful disassembling the old system and installing the new one. They gave me advance notice when turning off gas and water, and kept my inconvenience to a minimum. We had a small glitch getting my gas fireplace working again after the gas had been off, but that has since been resolved.

As a recent update I needed more work done due to the recent storm. Cool o Matic once again came through with excellent service, competitive pricing and more. There team goes above and beyond and is so helpful! As well as genuine when it comes to having the work done well and efficiently. They are all amazing!!

We recently had to replace a failed central AC system. We chose Cool-o-matic because of the effort they went thought to verify that the size of the previous system was calculated correctly. They did determine that the ducting work was not designed for optimal performance and was able to make improvements. Their in-house metal shop was able to fabricate the necessary ducting quickly and precisely.

First and foremost, Tom Romano was my initial contact to discuss my replacement options. He was professional and very knowledgeable. I found it interesting that he was the only one to measure my rooms including the intake and outtake vents. His price was much lower than my other 3 estimates with longer warranties. Had a Bryant HVAC system installed by Cool-O -Matic this week. The two installation technician (Andrew and Joe) were very thorough and professional. They REALLY cared about the quality of the work they were doing. They went above and beyond what I think is normal in the industry, to make things work and look correctly. They didn't rush and answered any questions we had. The unit they installed was for our great room, and based on their workmanship this time, if we ever need to replace our other whole house unit, we'll have them come back for that as well. Tom the sales rep was the first person we talked to and he explained everything in detail. After it was completed he came back to see how things went and to make sure we were satisfied.

After 25 good years my furnace called it quits. My original furnace and A/C system was installed by Cool -O- Matic back in the mid 90’s and aside from some regular maintenance I did not have any issues until the secondary heat exchanger clogged up with soot &rust. I called Cool -O- Matic and spoke with Tom who is very professional and responsive. After verifying the furnace was in fact clogged he did a thorough evaluation of my home taking measurements to determine sq. footage, taking into account the number of windows, which direction (N,S.E,W) the windows face, number of air returns, hot or cold spots in the home and came up with a detailed proposal on BTU’s for the furnace and optimal tons for the A/C unit. Tom explained in easy to understand terms my options and recommended the Bryant brand. The installation was flawless, the engineers were very professional and thoroughly cleaned up when they we’re done (aside from the new furnace and A/C unit you never even know they we’re there). I highly recommend Cool -O- Matic.
