Big Bang Music School/Center

This is THE place for music lessons! The instructors are amazing, they keep the students excited about music and tailor the lesson to the student. In particular, Craig, the owner, is the best drum instructor in the world. My son loves going there and loves drumming. Not only is Craig a great instructor, he is a great person who is a positive influence on my son. I can't give a stronger recommendation for Big Bang!

This is a great local music school for all ages! Very family oriented, awesome teachers working with kids, and flexible schedules. My 8 year old is doing drumming with Craig and guitar with Jessie and he loves the experience. It’s a place where to build your passion for music! They also continently have instruments rentals, repairs, and sales!

WONDERFUL PLACE! I can't say enough good things about the drum lessons my son gets at Big Bang. Not only are they personalized for him, but the staff has been so flexible and helpful with finding the materials and arranging lessons that work for us.
I have never seen my son so interested in anything like he is the drums. I know a lot of that is due to the experience with Craig at Big Bang.

We love this music studio. Both my kids take drum lessons with Craig, and couldn't be happier. Craig keeps the class educational and fun at the same time. Our kids love going there!

My grandson has been taking drum lessons from Craig (owner) now for about 1-2 years - not only is he a wonderful, talented instructor but he takes the time to get to know his students and then adjusts his style so the kid has the best experience and can enjoy the results of the classes. He is personable, friendly, kind, knowledgeable, talented and professional. His staff is equally as congenial and helpful. Everyone that comes into the building is treated like family. i would highly recommend Big Bang to all the music enthusiasts in the area.

My son really wanted to play the drums but I was hesitant because he has ADHD and his attention can wonder. Let me tell you Craig is incredible. He is patient and really cares about teaching all students. From the second I met Craig I knew he was a special teacher. He has taken his time and worked with my son's distractions to make him feel comfortable. It's honestly the best part of my kids week. If I could give Big Bang more than five stars I would. Check it out, you won't regret it!!!

Best teachers around. They make lessons fun and they truly care about the students. Not just in their music, but everyday life as well. My son started taking drum lessons with Craig just 2 years ago and was accepted into several music programs in the different colleges he applied to. Not only did Craig teach him to play, he helped him find his passion which will be with him for the rest of his life. It is a friendly environment and they make you feel like family. I am grateful to have found Big Bang and to Craig Buchman for not only his teaching skills but for caring about each individual student as much as he does. Very happy with Big Bang Music Shop! If you are looking for music lessons for your child, this is the place. After trying other music lessons in the area, we are very happy with Big Bang. The friendly, professional staff is currently teaching and encouraging my son to play drums. My son loves it and looks forward to his lessons. Also, this is not just a place for music lessons but also a local retail shop to purchase instruments and other musical items. Definitely recommend.

Craig & his music center have been an inspiration to my 7yo's passion for drumming. It's easy to see he prides on connecting with students on their terms, motivating their skills past any self-doubt or impatience. My kid couldn't be happier with the weekly lessons, and the center's remote lessons are just as impressive. He really made the dynamics work, from the kit setup to the interactive tools. The toughest part is ending the session!

My son has been taking music lessons for 9 years at Big Bang! They are like family. The difference between BB and other places is their interest in your child in all aspects of life. They support all avenues of their students. Different teachers for different levels of ability. They don't just teach songs, they teach music....from the ground up. My son has taken guitar, drums and voice lessons. The best of the best for a reason! Once you try it you'll never go anywhere else!!

Big Bang is the real deal! We've tried several local as well as NYC and surrounding areas (Somerville, Cranbury, and virtual) places for lessons in vocal and instrumental. There is nothing that comes close in comparison to the service, prices, contacts, knowledge, and lesson quality that you will get at Big Bang.
