Karma Barre & Yoga Studio and Boutique

Let me tell you about this place. It’s to good to gatekeep.

I’ve been weight training for about 20 years. Almost half my life. I’ve hit a wall and about a year ago stopped seeing results. Pushed through for my wedding then a few months ago lost all desire and just stopped showing up. I’m usually intimidated by classes because I’m 90% extrovert and 10% introvert when I walk in a room filled with strangers.

I decided this was my week. I called and joined! I’ve taken Pilates and Classic Barre so far and OMG! Never have I ever! You would think I’ve never had strength or muscle. The classes are intense but so so much fun! I modify a lot because of injuries and I don’t feel judged if someone sees me like I have at the gym. Everyone is so friendly and so nice. Very welcoming. And clean! I usually skeeve the floor at classes especially barefoot or in my socks but this studio is very well taken care of.

I canceled my gym membership after my second class. I highly recommend checking it out!

As someone who only goes to studios to workout, karma barre is the best studio I’ve ever been to. The instructors are so welcoming and each have a distinct teaching method. They have a wide range of classes and are challenging. The value of their monthly subscription option is great compared to other studios. Could not recommend enough.

Take Basic Barre every Thursday morning. Cindy is great! Small movements, big results. Great for a beginner or intermediate. Been taking her class for 3 years straight

This studio is the absolute best place to get yourself in great shape. There's a variety of class-types and instructors, so you never get bored and you work different muscles with each different class. You get a whole-body workout in either an hour or 45 minutes! Barre and pilates classes are designed to strengthen and lengthen muscles without fear of injury. They also have lots of yoga classes - but I prefer the peppy, upbeat barre or pilates classes myself. 😁 Did I mention the nice aesthetic of the studio and the boutique for shopping?! The best part of this place, however, is the kindness and community of the instructors and members. You will always feel welcome and usually have a few laughs. Go! You'll love it.

I’m simply OBSESSED with this place! It’s a gem 💎 it’s exactly what I’ve been looking for! My adorable hubby gave me this as Christmas gift and I’m finally here! Day 3 and I’m trying every possible class and I love them all including the amazing mentors! I love love love the 7:15 classes - what a way to start the day! Thank you for a friendly, chic and immaculate place!

I’ve been a member at Karma Barre and Yoga for three years. The classes from beginner to advanced are challenging and all of the instructors are awesome!! Joell, Karen and Susan are the owners and they are all amazing! The studio facility is immaculate and they have implemented the highest safety and health standards. As a bonus...they have a great boutique with trendy active and workout wear that changes every season. The membership is reasonably priced with no annual membership commitment. I wouldn’t go anywhere else! If you’re looking for a studio that has it all, then this is the place for you.

It's a beautiful place to exercise. The facility is absolutely gorgeous!! The entire team at Karma Barre is so great. There is a wide selection of classes. It's always clean. They play great music. Their instructors are well-trained and always come well prepared and ready to give you the best workout. They have created a warm and welcoming environment for a super workout...and their virtual classes are excellent. Five stars!!!

Just took the most beautiful class with Eric. His sequence, cueing, energy, passion and music lifted me to the clouds. I'm so grateful to have found this little gem.

The space is cute, clean and parking is convenient. I'll definitely be back!

The owners are very friendly and professional. The instructors are knowledgeable and supportive. The space is beautiful and always clean. The schedule is very accommodating and diverse. Plus…there is a great selection of merchandise for sale. What more can one ask for? I highly recommend this warm and welcoming environment!

Karma Barre is a great place to get in shape and stay in shape. It offers a variety of classes for all levels and ages. All of the instructors are personable, knowledgeable and dedicated to making every workout a great one. Great workouts, Great Staff, Great Owners. Karma Barre has so much to offer from amazing yoga classes to high intensity workouts ... no matter who you are, any age, any workout experience there is definitely a fit for you here. and on top of it the studio is BEAUTIFUL !!!!!! no more dirty gyms i found my happy place at karma barre!!!!!

I was so happy to find this studio — such a refreshing change from the big gym experience. The classes are diverse and always different, so always challenging. The owners, Susan, Joell and Karen, are enthusiastic and dedicated. The lengths to which they’ve gone to keep their business operational and responsive to members throughout the pandemic is commendable. Bottom line ... it’s a really fun place with caring people.

This is the best yoga studio I have ever been to!!! Before covid, I loved all the yoga teachers and classes they offered! The studio is clean and very tranquil. The waterfall in the lobby and the fireplace are very relaxing! It literally feels like you are in a spa! They also sell amazing clothes in their great boutique and other great things! When covid hit they never missed a beat! They immediately set up all classes by zoom. I never missed one week and continued my work outs just as I did before covid. The instructors are by far the BEST! I can't say enough about each and everyone of them!!! Everyone is amazing! They have a wide range of yoga and barre classes that's suits everyones needs. Thank you Susan, Joell, and Karen for saving my sanity and giving us such a great place to do what we love!

I couldn't say enough great things about Karma Barre and the incredible women who teach there. I've been a client for about 4 years now and I don't think I would have made it through this pandemic, with my sanity intact, without them. They bring so much energy to every class that you somehow find yourself smiling even though you are working out. I recently had a shoulder injury and modifications were always offered. These classes are truly accessible to any fitness level because they are very low impact and everything can be modified. With virtual options anyone nervous about entering a class for the first time can do so in the privacy of their own home. We are always happy to see new faces at the barre.

If you are looking for challenging classes at every level with talented, energetic and engaging teachers this is the perfect place for you! Flexible class schedule offered with all different times in an immaculate environment! I have been attending classes for a couple of years now and feel stronger in every way! Definitely one of my happy places!

I had a great experience at Karma Barre and Yoga! Everyone was so kind and friendly. Online booking / paying through ClassPass was super easy. I was hesitant to go to an in-person class post-COVID especially because it was my first time here, but it was totally worth it! Nice people, very on top of the cleanliness / social distancing rules, and the class was great! Will definitely be back & recommend!

There are many exercise studios in this area, but this is above and beyond the best! The classes are varied, with an equal balance of yoga, Pilates and barre classes. All the instructors are professional, knowledgeable and friendly. The studio is clean and bright...and make sure to check out the boutique for your soon to be favorite outfits.

KBY is one of the most unique, fun and friendly fitness studios you'll love the minute you walk through the door. There are a variety of classes offered at different levels to accommodate everyone . Whether you prefer Yoga, Barre or Pilates you will leave there feeling fabulous. I guarantee you'll be back for more. Please stop in for a visit, it is one of the safest and cleanest studios at the Jersey Shore!

I can't say enough about Karma Barre. The quality and energy of the instructors are incredible. Joelle's, Erica's and Jackie's classes are both challenging and fun at the same time. My whole body gets a great workout every time.
