Susan Rodriguez Bostock, M.D.

By far the best general practitioner I’ve ever had (and I’ve had quite a few). Not only is she the best GP, but she also educates herself on specific conditions and allows me to give input. She has often given me a few names of medications to research before we chose together the best course of action for me, as an individual. She spends a good amount of time with me (I’ve often joked with her about booking me for 2 appointments in 1 because I talk a lot) and she has never made me feel rushed, ever - even when the office was closing. At this time, unfortunately, she is not taking new patients, but I suggest to keep checking - you’ll likely never choose another GP again.

I have bad anxiety especially with Doctors. Dr. Rodriguez Bostock is so very patient and kind. She listens to her patients with compassion and she gets things done. I'd recommend her to anyone.

A couple of years ago I wrote my last experience with Dr. Rodriguez and it wasn't pleasant. I am now retracting what I said. I was just upset. I am very sorry if it hurt doctor Rodriguez in any way. She's been more than a doctor to me. She always listen to me always gave me good advice. I loved her as a doctor there isn't any better. I wish I could go back to her

I've been seeing Dr. Bostock just about once a month for almost 3 yrs & she's 1 of the best drs I've ever had. Trust me, I've had my share. Her bedside manner is exceptional & she really shows that she cares. She takes her time & spends time with you. I really am blessed to have her as my PCP. And even though she may not be able to cure all of my ailments, she definitely puts forth a caring & compassionate effort. Her office staff are pretty awesome as well. I couldn't ask for a better PCP.

Due to my condition I have seen and dealt with many doctors but none like Susan Rodriguez-Bostock. If you want a thorough, compassionate person who will listen and understand you she is the one. Dr. Susan is not a doctor with 1 foot in the room and 1 foot out the door she sits, listens, recommends and cares! It’s a 45 minute drive to her office but I tell definetly worth it she is a rare find! Thank you Dr. Susan Bostock for being who you are.

I also want to add Debra Dillion is awesome at getting things done and Asia is always professional and friendly when I call or come in for an appointment. So much appreciation to the staff as well.

I've going to this doctor for just over three years, and the care I've been provided with, not only from the doctor, but from the entire staff, has been exceptional. I am extremely thankful for their kindness and knowledge, my health has taken an immense turn for the better since I'm under their care.

DR Rodriguez now has me on the rite blood pressure medicine and I am feeling relived now. The staff members in her office are top notch and thanks everyone for helping and caring for the patient's that come thru your door! Bill Gepp.

Dr Rodriguez is one of the kindest doctors I've ever met.She spends time with you and listens to all of your concerns.And her medical assistant Debbie is amazing also.I feel truly blessed to have found this office.

Dr. Rodriguez-Bostock is an amazing person and excellent doctor. She’s caring and takes the time to listen to her patients thoroughly.

She is the best

I really liked this Doctor but I was following the workplace wellness program schedule that the company I work for’s insurance provider puts out. When it came time to do my checkup they denied my appointment and dropped me as a patient so now I have no doctor. Would not recommend

I absolutely love Dr. Rodriguez. She is extremely nice and very helpful. However, getting in touch with her is an absolute nightmare and I will be switching PCP because of her staff members. For over a year now her office staff has been extremely rude, hung up on me, not called me back when I am calling for an inquiry about refilling my prescriptions (that I am supposed to be taking daily and have had to go without because of her staff). I called 13 times today hoping to get in touch with her office to switch my insurance and refill my prescription. The line was busy for hours, then when it did ring I was sent to a person who was not a member from her office and told me to leave a message. The front office manager Debbie has taken the phone off the hook and left it on busy for hours at a time to the point I had to contact the corporate office a little over a month ago. They informed me that her supervisor took care of the situation and that I would no longer have an issue. Debbie has also yelled at me in the past over the phone and told me "not to wait until the last minute to call and get my prescriptions filled." Even then I still was not allowed to speak with my Dr. The only reason I'm even giving this 3 stars is solely because Dr. Rodriguez is truly amazing, but I can't continue to go through this every month or so when I need to refill my medication (that I'm supposed to be taking daily) and no one will answer the phone or they are extremely aggressive and rude.

Update 9/15/2021: I came in today for my appointment that was scheduled 1 PM today. Debbie cancelled my appointment because of the review I left last week. She did not call nor leave a voicemail stating that she done so. I found out once I already left work and was at the office for my appointment. She also dismissed me from seeing Dr. Rodriguez as my PCP. I'm not sure if that's legal to cancel someone's doctor's appointment without their consent because of a Google review, but Debbie told me she did not care if I contacted corporate which I have now done. If this is how someone allows their staff to behave and treat patients, then this is not the physician I want to seek treatment from.

If you go to the Dr. Rodriguez's page on Hackensack Meriden's website you can view other patient's comments from June 2021 where they experience similar situations about having to call several times to get prescriptions refilled and how difficult it is to schedule an appointment at her office.

Office is horrible- drops patients if you haven’t been seen .. absolutely not willing to help
