Bangkok Bistro Thai Eatery

I am not an expert on Thai cuisine, BUT this place was so good. I stumbled upon this place by accident on Google Maps when I looked for lunch options in that area. The first time I went was with my cousin, the second time with my family and another time with a friend. It's a bit far from where I live, but it's well worth the drive, and I usually go here when I have errands to do in this part of NJ.

First time going to a Thai restaurant and I am impressed. The food and service is amazing. The Thai coffee is an absolute banger of a drink.

Bangkok Bistro, located on Route 9 north in Manalapan is a true gem for Thai cuisine lovers! It is a hidden gem that deserves to be discovered!

Great food! Authentic meals.. the duck was amazing, and also the shrimp appetizer. Parking is on the premises. I suggest making a reservation on Friday or Saturday nights. Gets alittle packed. It's BOYB as well. Family owned.

The food is delicious ! The offer real fish! The whole red snapper is always crispy and meaty and the salmon is cooked perfectly! My kids love the chicken satay and the green curry chicken.

This is a family owned restaurant and they are all working there and are all very pleasant.

Rated 3 stars for atmosphere because it is a casual kinda place not super fancy, but clean and nicely decorated.

Very happy place! Makes me order more food. Everything delicious! Love the ducky fried rice. Soft shell crab appetizer so good I ordered 2. This place is a must try. It's under new ownership.

New owners but the food is just as good. Been coming to this place the last 15 plus years and just had a sit down there today again. The duck with red curry or green curry hits the spot!!!
I got the small Thai Ice Coffee. Don’t do the large unless you wanna be wired for the night lol.

All round the best Thai restaurant :) with lovely Thai owners so they know how to really make Thai food!

Found this place next to Manalapan Diner, I have a great experience with the taste & service, Roadside noodle flavor is fantastic, the spicy Jungle is a new experience for me, hot and spicy but delicious.
Their Ice tea drink helps to cool me down a bit.

I really enjoyed this place! Nice family owned business and overall the atmosphere of this place was just incredible. I felt like I was at home eating with my family. Highly recommend! Also, get the basil chicken fried rice!

Hands down the best Thai place in the area. I'm so glad to have found this little gem. The pad Thai here is by far the best, and most flavorful, pad Thai that you'll arguably ever have. Even after finishing the generous portion size, the taste left in your mouth makes you crave for just one more bite. The restaurant itself feels a little tight, but the atmosphere and food more than make up for it.

Food was awesome. The atmosphere is great for family or date night. I’ve done both. The prices are excellent. I recommend this place to anyone who likes Thai food. 5 stars all around.

We visited last week and Wow the food was delicious. We had the avocado spring roll with the peach sauce. It had large pieces of avocado. For dinner, we had the Jungle Flank steak that comes with rice, chili and a bunch of vegetables. We also had the Mango spicy sweet & sour and that comes with rice. Chicken, beef, shrimp and vegetables all mixed together. When we tasted it, we ate it all before realizing we forgot to take a photo of the entrée. It was that good. For Desert we had the creme brule cheesecake.
Hands up to the chef. We met Jack the owner and his children they were all hands on in the entire service. They have great energy and awesome customer service.

Cute spot and really friendly service! Lots of traditional choices and spice levels available. I love fun drinks and I liked the option of a whole coconut!

Very friendly, quick service. Delicious, fresh dishes. Our favs were fried calamari, crispy duck salad, Bangkok duck and See Eww w beef. Will be back again and highly recommend!

It was excellent food and friendly staff. The Tom Kha Gai was a different take than what we've been used elsewhere. Our main course dishes were so tasty, even as leftovers the next day
