Really enjoyed having lunch there today with my daughter. The Peking duck was delicious. Our server was so wonderful and attentive. It was a pleasant experience that is no longer common in the restaurant industry. I can’t tell you how much I appreciated the great service probably more than the food and the food was fantastic. Can’t wait to go back.

They had their menu marked with gluten free items and we really enjoyed our meal. The portion sizes were large but everything was delicious. My mom got the chicken and broccoli and I got the sesame chicken which is gluten free. We also got the fried rice and bok choy to share as well. I have also come in the past and got the calamari which is gluten free and that was really good!

I had bookmarked this place for a while and finally got a chance to try it last night with my pals. Called to make a reservation and realized that parties smaller than 6 could not make one which I am okay with considering the size of the restaurant it was a non issue we were seating within 15 minutes of us getting there.

The staff is very efficient , polite and plenty attentive even though we were being a little difficult with a our choices when it came to drinks, appetizers and the main dishes.

They have a full bar and the choices are plenty for one to pick from .

As group of 4 we really enjoyed the vibe and the whole experience. Would absolutely go back and try more things

Service here was amazing. Chris was our waiter and took care of us and made the experience that much better. The food is great and the portions are quit big.

The wonton soups broth was good. There wasn’t any pieces of pork in the broth. And believe it or not they don’t have any noodles so you have to come prepared like we did and bring on your own. The filet mignon egg roll was really good and well as the barbecue pork appetizer. My mom’s favorite we also enjoyed the Mongolian beef- chicken and broccoli and braised short ribs over pineapple fried rice!

Omg what an amazing dinner experience! I haven't had duck since the bahamas last year and this place took me back. I felt like I was on vacation!! Will definitely be back! Trying for this Sunday even though they are fully booked.

I love this spot! The service is always quick but good. The food is so amazing & bursting with flavor! Their martinis are excellent as well! The fried dumplings, rock shrimp & sweet & sour pineapple chicken are my go to!

There isn't too many negative things I can say about the Peking Pavilion. The place is beautiful, the food is wonderful and so are the cocktails. Everyone was very friendly and food and drinks were made immediately. Even the owner came around to make sure everything was perfect. My only two negative complaints would be the wait to get a table was 45 minutes to an hour (you cannot make reservations unless there are 6 people in your party) we got 2 seats at the bar, which it was very comfortable to eat there, and, secondly, it was very loud in the restaurant. But, again, the food and service was exceptional. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

My daughter has always wanted to try this place, so we finally went to dinner there before she left for college. We had an amazing meal! We started off with the Cantonese wonton soup, which was delicious (the broth wasn't too salty either). Then we shared two dishes. The skirt steak over ginger lo mein was our favorite because the meat was very tender (medium rare) and the sauce had a slightly sweet taste. We also had the jumbo sea scallops and shrimp. The sea scallops were cooked to perfection. My only negative take away was that the sauce on the pineapple fried rice was a bit too salty for my taste, but I prefer less salt in my foods. I had a mai tai ($15) and it was very good. We had an amazing experience, and we look forward to returning on special occasions (the cost is expensive on my single mother budget).

Hands down, best Chinese restaurant in New Jersey. You will pay a premium for the food but, for sure is worth it. Great spot for a dinner date or a family celebration. Once you’ve had Peeking Pavilion, you’re not gonna want any other Chinese food again.

This is one of the best Chinese food restaurants around! I typically don’t leave reviews but when I saw the ridiculousness posted below from two customers I felt I needed to balance the scales a bit. I was there at the restaurant when this man came in with another gentleman bragging about how much he spends there from his car dealership. My meal was going wonderfully, service was fantastic, until this guy began raising his voice and yelling, going from table to table in both dining rooms showing his food to everyone interrupting their meals. He then proceeded to poke the owner repeatedly with his credit card which is when the owner threatened to call the police. It appears another coworker from his car dealership wrote the exact same review for this same incident. I heard the owner and both hostesses offer multiple times to remake the dish.
Don’t let one entitled guy with nothing better to do on his lunch break scare you off from a restaurant that has been a community staple for almost 40 years.

The chicken imperial and sesame chicken are out of this world. They only use organic chicken, you never wonder what kind of “mystery meat” you’re biting into. Veggies are always fresh, and although the wait can be long sometimes you are always treated like family when you go to Peking.

I went here last night with my family + significant other. Since they don't accept reservations for less than 6 people, I recommend attending early (we got there around 5 PM). As soon as we entered, the staff greeted us with courtesy and smiles. We were told it would be a 45 min - 1 hr wait - within 5-10 minutes we were seated! We sat in their upstairs area, which was a bit cramped, but much quieter. Our food came out very quick too. We started with steamed veg dumplings, then we shared dinner family style. The portions are definitely large enough to share. Sesame Chicken was the standout: big, tender pieces of chicken with a not too sticky sauce, really tasty! Chicken and Broccoli was also quite good, not too greasy and not skimping on chicken. The fried rice was great to round out the main courses. No complaints about any of the dishes. The drinks here are strong, especially the Mai Tai. When they say upscale, it really is. I'll definitely be coming back!

Loud, upbeat environment. The food is great and the portion sizes are good for sharing. I wish I could try more different dishes in a single visit because there are many that sound great.

I don't eat Chinese food often when i do I make it count and would rather come to Peking Pavilion. I think personally best Chinese in NJ doesn't hit your stomach like a bomb and I am not hungry after eating it. The only downfall it is a bit pricier than most Chinese restaurants.. But worth it, service was awesome ..

First let me say, the parking lot is full this place is jam packed from the first floor, bar, dining area to the upstairs dining area. The locals know where to get upscale Chinese food.

The servers and wait staff are very attentive and polite.

The food is served at a nice pace, and is nicely plated from appetizers to the main course.

I had sizzling tofu, it was delicious and the vegetables were so fresh!

Even the fortune cookies tasted good!

It's a must-stop in Manalapan for the lovely ambiance and fantastic Chinese food!

Yesterday was my first time here, recommend by friends. The staff and food was absolutely amazing, I can't wait to return. My main course was the steamed black sea bass, LOVED it, next time I'll try the braised sea bass. My friends got the chicken and broccoli and general Tso chicken and raved about both!!
