OceanFirst Bank

This bank has welcoming customer service. Their branch manager takes her to take care of your banking needs. My other bank stopped having safe deposit boxes and the Matawan branch was happy to accommodate me.

Angela Crispino treated me with kindness and efficiency when I fell into her chair at 10 minutes before close and stayed at least 10 minutes past close to fully resolved my issue. I'm sure she had paperwork to follow up on afterward. Please don't abuse her focus on customer service like I did. I hope Ocean First management knows they have earned my loyalty because of representatives like Angela.

I found the staff at Ocean First Bank to be very helpful in setting up my account for me and my family. The staff was very professional and courteous. I have reached out to this branch when I was traveling and had some issues with my account. and they were quick to help me!!! I would strongly suggest if you are looking to open a bank account to bank with Ocean First. On the phone or face to face they have always treated their customers with respect and make you feel valued. They have always gone the extra mile to help me when I needed immediate attention with my account. I will only bank here because they always listen and communicate to me. They have always thanked me for my business!!

Today I went to ocean first bank in Matawan . Maggie , the bank associate , was my assistant . She answered All my questions, and was extremely knowledgeable and polite. I opened a checking account with her and she was accommodating, friendly, and was a pleasure to work with. Thank you Maggie for your professionalism and topped notch customer service! Awesome job!

We recently set up a business account With Angela and Mark; it was a great experience! They were able to quickly get us everything we needed so there was no interuption in payment from our vendors. As a local small business it's nice to call and receive a prompt response as opposed to the larger banks that just treat us like a number. Thanks again!

Outstanding customer service from everyone at this branch, especially Branch Manager Pat Zilly. She and everyone associated with this branch really seem to care about their customers, and go out of their way to help, which is a rare thing to find nowadays, especially at a bank. I have been especially pleased with all my interactions with Branch Manager Pat Zilly, and if bank management ever reads this, I say she deserves a pay raise!

I got my mortgage through OceanFirst and while this is naturally a stressful time, all the staff I spoke with were incredibly helpful and put me at ease. The online portal and the staff’s willingness to help out really made the process go along smoothly. I definitely appreciated the time they took to talk me through things and make sure I had all my documentation signed and ready. I highly recommend using them if you want excellent customer service.

I have been a customer of Ocean First Bank for many years. When the branch was in Middletown we had excellent service with Patty Zilly and her fabulous staff. They knew your name and always greeted you like you were family. So of course we moved along with them to the Matawan branch. We have continued to have nothing but outstanding banking experiences with Patty Zilly and her staff. We highly recommend Ocean First Bank to anyone we know.

I originally entered the Matawan branch with the intentions of closing my account due to a frustrating ordeal. Tha staff at this branch is amazing. Who enjoys going to the bank right. Well I have to tell you they made my experience very enjoyable because of there professionalism and their ability to make you feel like family.

I have been with this bank for the past 5 years and I must say its the best bank I have dealt with in 22 years. The staff is excellent and they know every customer on a first name basis. If your looking for bank that's not about there bottom line and put the interests of their customers first than this is the bank for you
