Went here for the first time today to get some work done that other shops weren't willing to do/wanted to overcharge me for. Rago Auto Care is made up of a very honest, no nonsense, friendly group of guys. From what I can tell, they are an experienced and knowledgeable team. They really care about helping people out. I plan to bring my vehicle here from now on!

Great mechanic and very fair pricing. This is my new go-to mechanic. I moved to Manalapan from Staten Island, and needed a new mechanic; Rago Auto Care has good reviews, so I decided to give them a try. I have an older Mazda that I wanted to keep running, and Rago did several repairs for a reasonable price. The mechanic was honest and very easy to deal with. I will bring them both my cars now, and give them recommendations. So hard to find a good mechanic, so I had to drop a review for anyone that might be looking.

If anyone is looking for automotive work this is the best place I have been to. Pricing is extremely reasonable. Joe and Johnny are phenomenal. Super helpful and know there stuff inside and out. Trust them with any of my vehicles. They have done countless repairs on all my vehicles from muffler deletes to trans swaps they do it all, for good quality service bring your vehicle here!

Joe Rago is the epitome of professionalism and a true master of his craft. This is the second time I have brought my vehicles to his shop and both times he had exceeded my expectations on every level. My dad had a noise coming from front driver side tire. Went to dealer where they tried to sell him 4 new tires. His tires only had about 20k miles on them. Went to Rago they checked it out and found two lug nuts loose causing the noise...Great mechanics, great service !!

I don’t know what happened but I had to return to that shop a few times for same issue…
I stopped by Rago and spoke with John and Joe they rectified the problem one time also correcting the damage the last mechanic did..

I Dropped off my 2015 Mini Cooper this morning for a muffler removal. Very smooth process the guys were very nice and accommodated all of my needs and concerns. The car sounds and looks great now! I will definitely be bringing my car back to have additional work done

Our delivery truck was making a terrible sound and it felt like it was going to be expensive. My brother from another mother Frankie told me to bring it to his guys at Rago. They took a quick ride with me to listen to the noise. I left the keys with them and prayed to god that the repair would be under $1,000. I get a call 1 hour later that my truck is ready and it’s going to cost $75. My new mechanic for life.

The back latch on my Rav4 was not working. Rago got the repair done at a very honest price which I greatly appreciate around this time of year. Latch working fine now and vehicle in good condition. Courteous service and they were responsive in giving me an estimate and in providing the status. Thanks very much!!

I always get fast and reliable service. The employees are knowledgeable and polite. I know when I take my car to Rago's I will drive out of there knowing that the job was done right,Oh and the prices are GREAT$$$!!! You know what your going to pay up front. No surprise's added to your bill. Women should not be afraid to come here this shop is HONEST.No RIP-OFFS!!! Work done right for a fair price. Wouldn't trust my car to any other shop. Rago Auto Care has made me a customer for life. Absolutely hands down the most transparent and authentic exerience I’ve ever had with any mechanic. John and Joe took care of my Mustang like it was their own car - they even took a ride out TO MY HOUSE to help sort out a clutch problem and then checked up on me unprompted after the service was done. This shop’s local and out of state clientele was clearly built from honest and accomodating service delivered to the point that I would not let any other mechanic touch my cars again. Could not reccomend this shop more.

Vinny was recommended to be Mike from Brooklyn, and as everyone else has said, Ragos are honest, decent, and excellent mechanics. Exactly what need today. Less crooks preying on others who may not be familiar with mechanical work needed is definitely refreshing when your going through tough financial times and need your vehicle. 5 STARS for this establishment !!

I have been coming to rago auto care for years. I drive all the way from toms River because it's the only shop I trust. Joe , John and Vinny are the best, they are fair, honest and reliable. I highly recommend !
