Highly recommend Dr. DeSarno. he is very skilled and did a fantastic job fixing my double hernia that I have had for over 20 years. He is caring and has a wonderful bedside manner. Would recommend to anyone without hesitation.

Dr DeSarno was highly recommended to me by my primary care physician for what appeared to be a Ventral Hernia. I had all my pre op tests done and met him for the first time. I walked into a very clean, nicely decorated organized office. Immediately I was approached by Kevin who gave me the paperwork to fill out and skip what they already had, that saved two pages. After waiting maybe one minute possibly two I was in the evaluation room again with Kevin. He went over everything I answered, made sure medication, past procedures and dates were all correct. Since Kevin was my first interaction I felt he was professional, thorough, easy to understand, and was confident he did his job. He left and two minutes later maybe less I met Dr DeSsrno. He walked in like he owed the place (he does lol) came over, shuck my hand, introduced himself, the type of Dr. he was, went over what Kevin did and gave me my official exam as a specialist. BTW, Dr DeSarno even helped me take my jacket off and hung it up. A real class act. After looking me over , asking a few more questions he noticed something a little different the way it felt, moved, jumped, took shape and asked me to lay down again and check around my belly and sternum area more in depth because it was different. He was able to feel, understand what I have been trying to tell people what I was feeling. He listened to everything I said, every concern I had and clearly cares and likes what he does. He never interrupted or dismissed me, he got it. He was 100% accurate with my diagnosis. He asked if I had any other symptoms, problems, concerns and made sure I was accommodated. Dr DeSarno is a real pleasure to deal with and speaks ina away people understand, not other doctors. He is 10 stars across the board. Soon after he introduced me to Christie / Chrissy and she scheduled my surgery after getting all my records in order, speaking with my primary cares office and making sure the “T”’s were crossed and the “I”s were dotted. She worked with my insurance and the surgical center for the procedure and done. I spent maybe 30-45 minutes inside and that was because I was fillings out the paperwork needed. She was professional and accommodating as well. I was there on a Monday and I was scheduled for Friday, four days later and the surgery is complete. After two plus years of ignoring this and putting it off Dr DeSarno, his staff and the Advanced Surgical Institute (where the procedure was done) were great. They will get a review as well. Sticking with Dr. DeSarno, his office, his staff, himself hands down deserve all the trust & respect which shows why he’s got “5” stars on Google. There is nothing I would do or suggest because this office is a well oiled machine and they definitely do NOT need a tune up. I would recommend Dr. DeSarno to anyone who needs a surgical procedure where he practices. I still can’t see what he did since I’m still under bandages but I’m feeling 100% better & this was definitely not a normal hernia procedure. Kevin, Chrissy, Dr. DeSarno just keep doing what you’re doing, people out there need doctors and office staff like you all. It’s understandable why my primary care physician suggested you for this treatment. Thank you all for taking such good care of me and having all the confidence.

There aren't enough words to express my gratitude to Dr. DeSarno and his staff. Dr. DeSarno is compassionate and dedicated. His casual patient level of conversation made me feel relaxed and well informed. We discussed my health concerns and together agreed on a treatment plan. He made sure I had a clear understanding of the procedure and recovery process. He never made me feel rushed and was sure to answer all of my questions. His bedside manner, kindness and human touch makes him unique. It is evident that he sets the example in his practice and has an impressive staff to show for it. Christine is astute and well versed in the daily operations. Kevin is kind and considerate. There is a mutual respect that is noticed throughout the staff and patients which I find uncommon in today's health care. I would recommend Dr. DeSarno and his practice to anyone in need of a remarkable surgeon.

I highly recommend Dr DeSarno. He took excellent care of me and is sincerely concerned about his patients well-being. His office staff is also excellent.I would not hesitate to ask him for help again I’m the future.

Dr. Desarno did my hernia surgery and I could not have been happier . He was amazing and thorough at explaining everything to me and and his bedside manners were awesome. He'll be my first choice for anything I need in the future!!!

Dr. Desarno recently removed my gallbladder and I could not have asked for a better experience with a better team. He is attentive, answered all of my questions and really put me at ease prior to the operation.
