Saltwater Inn

The Salt Water Inn is in my opinion one of the finest " Jersey shore" experiences. The Inn is conveniently located for a comfortable stroll to both the beach and downtown shopping with an abundance of restaurants nearby.
Off street parking is always a plus, we parked our car and didn't think about starting it until time to go home.
But let's get to the point,the Inn has a casual,easy feeling ... No stuffy B+B here , very clean and bright from the large outside porch area the lobby and light breakfast area, all the way to your room.
Our room was what we looked for in a shore experience, CLEAN, spacious and well appointed. The bathroom with shower was just perfect for getting ready for an evening out after a day at the beach.
Linens were plentiful and crisp, and the AC oh the AC... Yes!
Well I guess by now you can tell I'm a fan, if you're traveling takes you to the Belmar area
Ya just might give the Salt Water Inn an early call... We had a great time and Will be back!

The place was beyond our expectations. Clean, quiet, and well-equipped. Large room with a comfy bed. The beach is just a couple blocks, and the hotel provides nice beach chairs.
My special thanks to Josh. He was incredibly accommodating and friendly.

We stayed in the Coconut Cabana room. Beautiful room, very clean and well kept, and the customer service was phenomenal. For the price I'd have expected a slightly more modern television as this one only had access to cable, so if you want access to streaming services you'll need your own device to connect via hdmi. The beds were very comfortable, and the complementary breakfast pastries and coffee were nice. The AC is quite cold, bring a sweatshirt up at night. Joshua the innkeeper was a gem. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at this delightful property over two nights (Saturday and Sunday). Josh, the Manager, was extremely helpful. Rooms are clean and a good size. Relaxed in the common lounge area and there is a wrap around terrace to sit and enjoy the view. The property is situated on a corner in a residential area about a 15 minute walk from Main Street and a 10 minute walk (in the opposite direction) from Belmar Beach. All in all highly recommended.

I have had the pleasure of staying at this hotel on multiple occasions, and I am very impressed by the cleanliness of the rooms, service, exceptional hospitality, and the unbeatable location. During my visits, I had the pleasure of interacting with Cassidy and Josh, who are both very kind and accommodating. The hotel's location to the beach is very convenient, only a short walk away. The rooms are clean and the hotel has a delightful beach charm. I will definitely be booking another stay here!

The Salt Water Inn was the best place to stay for our girls weekend! It was close to all the necessary spots (bars, beach, etc). Joshua was so sweet and accommodating to us even when we were a little loud and rowdy. Definitely will be back and recommend for your trip to the shore!

This place is a total gem! The property manager Cassidy was so helpful and personal during the process of making our reservations, and the innkeeper Josh was so kind, hospitable, and welcoming. The Inn is beautiful, and it's just a short walk to the Belmar beach. Highly recommend!! We're already looking for dates to book for next summer! One thing to note - each room is given one parking spot (which is more than many other shore inns will promise), but when they say compact cars only, they mean it! The parking lot is tight! We ended up parking our SUV on the street during our mid-week stay, and that was no problem.

Our time at the Saltwater Inn was amazing! The check in process was seamless, service was impeccable, and rooms were clean. The innkeeper, Josh, went above and beyond to make our stay great.

The Saltwater Inn is affordable and conveniently located to the ocean and social scene in Belmar.

We are already planning our return next year! Thanks Josh and Saltwater Inn for an incredible weekend!

Fantastic weekend at the SaltWater Inn!!! The location cannot be beat, the ease of walkability to the beach/town was awesome. Josh, the inn keeper, was fantastic - just the right amount of chit chat to make you feel welcomed but not intruded upon. Rooms were clean, comfortable and had enough space to store your things and make for a very comfortable stay. We will be back for sure!! Awesome time.

Josh was awesome! We we’re allowed to check in early, our bed was super comfortable and we woke up to coffee and refreshments. What a special surprise! We borrowed beach chairs for the afternoon. Josh treats you like family!

I’m working as the Innkeeper here at the Saltwater Inn for the 2022 season! I love it! Belmar is full of wonderful people and amazing beaches! We are just two blocks from the Beach and easily walkable to Main Street and so many restaurants! The Inn is freshly painted and updated. The housekeepers do an amazing job. Best summer gig ever!

My stay at the SaltWater Inn was nothing but spectacular. The new owners really out did themselves and made both the inside and outside of the inn look amazing. Our room was very clean and well-kept as well as the rest of the Inn as a whole. The included mini fridge in the room, wrap around porch, free parking, and the provided continental breakfast was an added bonus that made our stay great. In addition, the innkeeper is onsight and readily availble for any needs you may have during your stay, plus she is super friendly and helpful! This will be my go-to place when visiting Belmar!

Excellent stay this past weekend at the Saltwater inn! Building was very clean. Josh was great too! Location is perfect.

This was my first time coming to Belmar . I came to this area because of a friends wedding I attended, they suggested we stay here. I have to say this inn is absolutely wonderful. My boyfriend and I stayed here and we had the most relaxing stay. The area is just blocks away from the beach. Its pricey but it's worth it.The rooms have a sea theme which is really cute. The owner is super nice as well.

Absolutely a fabulous place. Immaculate, comfortable,quiet, walking distance to beach and restaurants. The owners Marty and Joyce couldn't be nicer. They see to your every need and make you feel like family. The breakfast is soooo delicious and the presentation is beautiful!! If I could give this place 10 stars I would.

The owner is so accommodating and 100% committed to you having a wonderful stay. The room we stayed in was impeccably clean and very comfortable. We did not have any food there, there there is a coffee station in the small kitchen. Would definitely stay there again!!

From the moment you walk in Joyce & Marty make you feel welcomed. The place is amazingly spotless, with beautiful decor and the best part is that it's close to the beach. I am definitely coming back and recommend anyone whom is thinking about it to go and enjoy tranquility and hospitality.

A beautiful two bedroom and living room to enjoy. The place is very clean and well organized. The rooms were a perfect size. The owners are spectacular! Absolutely the best placed I have booked in Belmar / Avon.

A friend of mine stayed at the Salt Water Inn. She raved about the room, the service, and the special secret breakfasts that they make each morning. I can vouch for the cleanings of the place. The owners have a nice sense of style and clearly care a great deal about the little things. If you are in the Belmar area, this is the place to stay.

Among other things, we were especially happy about the ‘above-and-beyond’ accommodations.
The owners went out of their way to make us special last-minute dinner reservations at a busy local restaurant (La Dolce Vita).
