The best shop in the area! Family owned and the staff are all very personable and straight shooters. I had an idle and acceleration issue on my Civic that was ongoing for months.. There was no check engine light, no stored codes and virtually nothing else to go on. I had always taken my car to Honda in Eatontown, but for this issue Honda misdiagnosed the problem twice and I was getting frustrated. I dropped the car off here at Michael's this week after reading reviews online and Bill was able to diagnose and fix the issue in a day. The difference? He actually drove the car many times to really feel and understand the issue unlike Honda, then came up with a very direct and proper diagnosis. I was kept informed and updated regularly as he troubleshooted the problem and it was all fixed for so much less than I had paid Honda. My car accelerates better than it has in years and idles as smooth as butter. I am converted.. no longer supporting the Honda stealership. I will definitely be back in the future. A+!

Truly the best. I had a 78 ford f250 with a crank no start. I had toiled over trying to figure it out, i had fuel, i had spark, it drove me nuts. Thankfully the guys at mikes figured it out that it was my carburetor choke component's that were stuck. They even put a dealer plate on my truck to save me a tow back to my house. Couldnt be more happier.

Took my Xterra in for a quick oil change. Great service and price. I'm very happy I found Micheal's, will bring my Nissan back for other services in the future.
