The BEST auto shop in Monmouth county! They are very busy but you can tell they do their best to get you taken care of in a timely manner. Best service anywhere. Honest. Cares about their patrons. Been bringing my vehicles to them for a quarter century. Even after moving to Ocean County, I take my car forty minutes up the road to be seen by them. Will allow no one else to work on my car.

When I lived in Neptune my car died so I had it towed into Rays. As a woman with an old beater for a car I'm always sceptical of mechanics at first. From the moment I met Linda, the wonderful woman at the front desk, I felt a little more at ease. She was honest and real and treated me like a human. It ended up being the alternator and of course because of the placement it was expensive. They were understanding and amazing to work with.

Sadly I moved to north jersey and had car issues again. I took it to a local shop up here and they said it was a faulty alternator and explained to me to take it back to the original mechanic - that this can happen and it's not the mechanics fault but it should be under warranty if they were an honest mechanic. With my luck I was nervous but had nothing but a good experience with Ray's.

So I called them back and even though they were very busy they got me in the same day and did what they do and came to the same conclusion. Not only was it covered by the warrenty but they took EXCELLENT care of me! I know this took hours of labor and I'm beyond grateful for thier help during an insane time!

If I am ever in the area or a friend needs a mechanic I will definitely recommend Ray's! It's this insane world it is a true miracle to find honest good people! Thank you Linda and everyone at Ray's!

I was really impressed with this business. They are very pleasant and professional. Linda came out to greet us, right away. They followed all covid protocols. My friend and I felt very comfortable waiting there. I have nothing but good things to say about Ray's. I will be bringing my car in next week for inspection. Much easier and much faster then the DMV. Not only are they fast, they are fairly priced.

I have been going to Ray's for many years. They do quality work at reasonable prices. They have helped me out of some very tight jams! I send all my friends here. Haven't lost a friend yet!

My car died out of the blue, knew it was the alternator, and needed it fixed fast. Brought it to Rays. I was expecting 900 bucks and a long time. Took 2 hours and 200 bucks, they had me on the road that fast. Everyone was super nice and called me hourly. Shout out to Jamie, thanks again!

Pre purchase inspection is always worth it. Most places will charge a fortune but Ray's didn't which I'm grateful for. I called here and was warmly greeted over the phone. Since I'm not from the area and found a car for sale in Tinton Falls last minute, they were kind enough to squeeze me in that same day not knowing who I was. I took my (now purchased) Beetle there and they greeted me, knew my situation, and saw me right away.

They also recommend me other cars to consider such as Toyota or Honda for reliable cars and did a thorough inspection and it passed with no issues. The owners said it had low rust on the bottom but nothing to be concerned about.

From their knowledge and experience, I bought the Beetle with confidence. (Volkswagens have a reputation on being pricey with maintenance issues) No issues with the car on the busy freeway taking it back to NYC.

I do would like to apologize for the young lady in spoke to the day after as I misread the coolant symbol on my car. I got frustrated because of my lack of knowledge of my new car and ended the call shortly. Tried call back to apologize but they were closed.

Ray's has very friendly mechanics who called me after checking out the car to tell me what was wrong. Tim did within that day so I could get back on the road that evening. Prices were fair. I will definitely be back next time my car needs something!

I went there for my dash board light what was dimmed, they told me right away what need to be adjusted. I told them I don’t know how to do it. They did it without charging and told me i can come back If I face any other problem.
