La China Poblana

The wife and I wanted to give this place a shot as we have driven past it a few times and have seen good google reviews. We were served chips, with a refried bean salsa and green salsa. Both excellent. Their homemade guacamole was also very good. We ordered our meals and were so happy with the not only the taste but the size. My burrito was huge. Filled with meat and cheese. Only thing I wish I did was cover it in some sort of salsa which I saw the table next to me do. Do I think this place is a 5/5, probably not. More so like a 4.5 but definitely not a 4! Excited to go back and try a few other things on their menu.

Excellent food. Prices were very reasonable and accommodating, food portions were outstanding, and the flavor of the food was excellent as well. It’s also owned by the same guy who owns the fish market next door which also serves great food as well. Definitely will be back again.

My girlfriend and I have been coming here for well over a year now, and it is unbelievable how consistently good the quality of the food is. It gets better every single time we go. The Al pastor tacos melt in your mouth, with the perfect amount of pineapple and smoky flavor. Highly recommend. Service, atmosphere is phenomenal as well.

I LOVE this place.

I always go for their pozole but today I tried their birria tacos and I LOVE them even more.

They have cheese at the bottom, they aren’t gamey tasting, simply delicious.

They have outdoor dinning as well.

Oh and I could drink their salsa verde.

Highly recommended.

First time here! GREAT SERVICE !!! Amazing food ! We sat outside because the inside was full and it was a beautiful day so we def loved they had the outdoor seating. We Ordered horchata as drinks . The large is $6.50 def worth the price ! The tortillas in the beginning were so fresh and crispy. We couldn’t stop eating them. Had the carne asada sopes. The tortilla masa was cooked well. The meat was very flavorful. Def fulled me up with the large horchata but I had leftovers which was soo good . My friend ordered the carne asada torta it was HUGE and she said it taste so good. We both got full. Together we spent $42.00 I would def take that ride for some good Mexican food. They were so friendly which is another reason we loved it. So grateful to have had visited this restaurant after seeing it on tiktok. Def come check them out !! 5 STARS!!!!

Went for some good Mexican, ended up staying for the Mariachi band. It was awesome! Every Friday night. Check them out.

Never leave reviews but this is definitely authentic delicious Mexican cuisine . Everything I’ve ever ordered NEVER disappointed me . Soul curing

My husband and I stopped at this place for lunch and we were impressed from the moment we walked in. The decor is so beautiful and authentic. The service was so fast and on point. The server took out orders and our food came out so fast. He also kept refreshing our hot sauce and checking in on us without being prompted. Food was AMAZING and came out hot. I 1000000% recommend this place. We enjoyed our food so much!

the food was amazing. we ordered the birria tacos. portions were large and everything was nicely priced. you have to order the guacamole with the chips. the ambiance is really nice. it gets really busy at times but 100% worth the wait.

We've vacationed in Mexico for several years. The flavors and food presentation at La China Poblano is typical comfort food. The menu is surprisingly extensive and we'll have lots of opportunity to explore it. Portions sizing is good. Service is good. Seating is a little tight since half the restaurant is dominated by an open kitchen.

Excellent food and service. I tried pozole and it was really good, my 5 year old also loved it he had the burrito and kept mentioning that he loved the flavor. Good stuff :)

I really enjoyed this place. The positive reviews were right on target. The food is authentic and delicious. We had the chicken cholupas and chorizo tacos as the main dishes. Both were excellent. The guacamole was crazy delicious. I loved the way the dining area was decorated. Bright and colorful. The female server was very sweet and friendly. She told us that sometimes there's a two hour wait for a table. The portions were just enough.
Don't let the outside fool you like it did to me. Definitely try this place if you like Mexican food.

Came with a friend for early dinner. The service was good. Everyone was very nice. We were seated quickly and the food was delicious. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

Pollo asado was fantastic. Got 3 different types of tamales jalapeno cheese were my family's favorite.

Best Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to. Everything is amazing. This genre is so weak in NJ, but this place is the real deal. You know the place is authentic when you see actual Mexicans coming here regularly. Great staff too, very welcoming and warm.

Delicious authentic Mexican cuisine. The ambiance is exquisite, it's a prelude for an unforgettable experience. The Tortillas are made from scratch, the mole ♥ and Flautas are my personal favorites.

We went here tonight for my father’s birthday and the experience overall was wonderful.

The staff were so kind and welcoming, our waitress was friendly and engaging, and the food was absolutely delicious!

I can’t wait to go back and try more stuff off the menu. Also the tres leches was some of the best I’ve ever had 🤤

Very good food. Took my wife for the first time and it was better then other Mexican places we've enjoyed in the past.
