Dwarkadhish Temple

Dwarkadhish Temple is a beautiful and sacred Hindu temple located in Sayreville, New Jersey. The temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna, and it is a replica of the Dwarkadhish Temple in Dwarka, India. The temple is built in the Māru-Gurjara style, and it is a sight to behold.

I visited the temple on a recent Saturday morning, and it was very crowded.

Lord Krishna deity in black marble stone is kept in this holy temple. It has enough space for 50-70 people to sit and pray 🙏
Temple is filled with very nice positive vibes. It is present next to main road diagonal to School 🏫. Major Hindu festivals like Holi , Deepawali 🪔, Janmastmii are celebrated here. Today we had the opportunity to take part 🎉 in Holi celebrations (11 March 2023), it was fantastic. Holiika dahan , drum 🥁 roll , color play happened followed by Prasadam. Color festival: Holi is a festival of lots of colors. It signifies the victory of good over evil and is celebrated as a day of spreading happiness and love. In 2021 it’s in March 28th and 29th as per google. So I thought to share my experience of holi in USA.
When I arrived USA, I am looking for a place where I can get the feel of holi. So I heard from my friend that people from new york and surrounding area’s go to this temple for holi as well as Diwali celebrate. So I decided to go there with my parents. There is no ticket; you can check the timings on their website

My experience was very good.
First day: They have bhajan(God’s song) night. Everyone is traditionally dressed up. We celebrate the big fire pit in the supervision of cops.
Second day: “Day of color “ we call all our friends at that place . They have big parking arrangements new school and at the back of the temple in a big ground. You can bring colors or you can purchase from there(if someone is selling) . I was the best and big holi I ever celebrated.

There is always some kind of small Pooja organized by temple people but on any festive day if you go there you will be amazed to see the arrangements like of Krishna janmastmi , holi , Diwali etc.
they won’t have canteen although on some occasions they offer food. You will get all details on their website.

Very nice visit to the Haveli - presiding deity being Dwarkadhish (Bhagwan Krishna). Excellent live Haveli Sangeet rendition and Aarti followed by Prasad. Lots of on premises parking.

Went for Diwali celebration and it was so crowded but we had lots of fun there.

very nice temple. All festivals are celebrated very well, Holi, Diwali, Navratri, Hindola, Janmashtami, everything. You will not miss India at all. JSK 🙏

This place is great to worship and celebrate Vaishnavs and Hindu festivals like Holi, Janmashtmee, Diwaali and Hindola in month of Shraavan. Place is not too gigantic like other temples but decent size. It can get crowded in a hurry on festival days. There is plenty of parking in the front and also the back of the building.
They have started selling fresh snacks and sweets recently. A very good quality but with the price for it.
There is a kitchen and a permanent tent in the lot behind to serve food occasionally after the shayan darshan.

All hindu festivals are celebrated here. Good that temple is making effort to join the people together.
Also they have live food court.

Holi festival celebrated every year

It was very pleasant experience, wonderful and very calm. Enough spaces available and not much of a noise. The people are also very helpful and great to go for help.

I have gone to Dwarkadish twice. I remember going for my first time at Holi . It was so much fun! ! ! ! I can't wait to go again for Rajbhog Darshan. Jai Shri Krishna.

This temple of Dwarikadhish very peaceful lord Krishna is was the king of Dwarika and the forms of Lord is so beautiful like lord Narayan 😍

Family place of worship. We go there for all special days birthday anniversary, Diwali and all ouspiciouse occasions.

Ample of parking and very quit place for prayer and rajbhog food was delicious.

This temple has different classes going on like bharatnatym, tutoring for citizenship exam, etc. They also have food(prasadi) on Sunday.
