Have been living in Weehawken for several years. Saw some of the review on yelp and google made me nervous. Took a leap and tried it out and surprising this place is really good with a nice atmosphere. Had the shrimp and grits which was good. The bartender was good as well. Sorry for the guts picture big in before taking it.

Gorgeous location: near the waterfront. My meal was simple and delicious, came out quickly. Service is exceptional. Great covid precautions practices.

Has the French toast with crispy bacon this morning. You guys knocked it out of the park. The fruit was fresh the French toast was hot and tasty, and Vermont maple syrup was perfect! Paired with fresh orange juice they made for a perfect start to the day.
Located inside of the Sheridan Lincoln Harbor Hotel this restaurant serves a delicious breakfast and soon will be open again for lunch and dinner seven days a week. Due to my point status this was a complementary meal from the hotel but would run you about 20$ if paid separately.

Recently we enjoyed an excellent dinner with great service at Jack Austin's. We were happy to be seated outdoors where we could watch the afterglow of the sunset on the midtown skyline across the river. The pork chop was moist and cooked to perfection, as was the salmon. Our cocktails were delicious, and a bottle of malbec paired well with our entrees. We will definitely dine there again!

I had an American burger that was perfect. Then walked a few feet and looked at a city view of lower Manhattan. Just great.

The steak was amazing. Its served with broccolini and potatoes but I got a salad instead of potatoes. Temperature was spot on. Great beer selections and bar service was fantastic

Food was amazing. Servers were all very polite and professional. Everyone was always working, refilling our waters, and taking our plates back. 10/10 would eat here again.

Absolutely sit outside if you get the chance, views of NYC are fantastic. Food here is awesome, I've had the Turkey Club and the Grilled Cheese - both were fantastic. Much more food than I could eat. Got the side of fries one time, and side salad the other... You cannot make a bad choice with either of them. Wait staff is great, always seem to arrive at just the time I might need them.

I'll absolutely be coming back when I'm in the neighborhood. 🍽

Amazing Cheese Burger

Talk about a gem... I can’t tell which is better, the atmosphere, the people, or the food! I’ll start with the atmosphere... old world pub style, very cool.

The very next thing that will jump out at you is how excruciatingly nice everybody is, starting with the bartender, the hostess, waiters, and even the manager came over to say hello.

Remember the good old days, when waiters used to linger near your table constantly watching what you’re doing like a hawk? Our waiter was Victor and that’s all he did.... awesome.

Last thing is the food. I had the iceberg wedge salad, the salmon, chicken wings, and nachos.… Everything perfect.

Would highly recommend!

We came to Jack Austin’s on a busy Saturday night and, from the moment we walked in, the manager remarkably oozed great warmth and charm and assured us that the service would be impeccable and the meal just as satisfying. Not only did he deliver on his promise, but we had a great meal and evening. I think, where a lot of restaurants fall down is their lack of attention to real customer service, but coupled with great management, honest hospitality and delicious food, I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Decided to stop in and grab a bite while waiting for the ferry. I was expecting mediocre bar food, but was so pleasantly surprised. I had the vegan chili with impossible meat... honestly to die for. My partner had some sort of pulled pork sandwich with fries which was equally as amazing. Definitely don’t pass this place up if you’re in the area.

We had a private party at Jack Austins and I couldn't have been more pleased with the event. From the beginning, the staff particularly Tommy and Peter were wonderful, working with us and making suggestions and recommending a DJ. After we made our decision, Aura took over to make sure all the details were met. the night of the event, the service was exceptional, the ambiance and the food were great. We didn't have to think about anything but having a good time. highly recommended for your next event!

Samy the manager was the absolute best!!! He was engaging and a ton of fun. The food was amazing. Have to try the beef barley soup. The artichoke dip is to die for. All around a great time and welcoming to out of towners.

Great ambient, great food. We had the Steak Frites and thick-cut pork chop. Service was amazing and great view to Hudson river and Manhattan at night. Excelente for a relaxed romantic dinner.

Their covid protocols are excellent. Finally able to sit at the bar, Scottie, our bartender, was a fantastic mixologist and host. The food was great; I had the Pat La Frieda beef burger and the ribs. I tried the spicy margarita (no sour mix- fresh organic ingredients), and they accommodated my gluten-free dietary restrictions. Overall will be retruning and supporting this establishment. Originally I wanted to eat and drink at Ruth Chris, but they were overtly packed with no availability at the bar. Happy we went to Jack Austins!

I got Mac and cheese, I didn't expect the bread crumbs, but right when the food entered my mouth. I couldn't describe how good and creamy that macaroni was. The buffalo wing sauce was so delicious, not so spicy. Definitely rate 5*

So I tried the Brisket with the mash potatoes and beans. Great pairing,... the Brisket was savory and the mash was just right.

My girlfriend had the greens and grains bowl with Salmon and that too tasted delicious.
