This place has great and fresh meat and delicious vegetables I always go there for my mom's and I'm in and out

Great place to shop, very well kept ,plenty of products to choose from.

Great place to shop for traditional groceries as well as international products for Spanish dishes, Guyanese dishes, and Chinese dishes. They carry a wide range of fruits and vegetables. And they have a great cold cuts section that makes great sandwiches for someone on the go. And they serve hot meals there as well. And they have a section that sells over-the-counter pharmacy products for adults and kids. They have great prices every day and customer service is excellent!!! Two thumbs up from me!!!

Clean, organized, friendly staff, great variety of multicultural products, quick check out service, plenty of carts and parking spaces, fresh cooked foods, great sales, equal opportunity employer, choice cut meats, fresh deli and bakery, pharmacy packed with Spanish meds aswell, ..... great experience.... 💙

Great place to shop but also high price products.

They have fresh produce all the time and African foods like Yam from Ghana and Red Palm oil/palm nut soup. They hade adequate parking as well. Never crowded.

I love this supermarket. The only thing is you ask the worker where food is. They dont know.

Lots of fresh stuff. Look for managers special pricing signs for good deals. They have hot food freshly made fried chicken and baked. They also sell fish.

Great selection, and my Jams, Chef Rene Hewitt's Jams can be purchased at Extra. This store has a big selection of everything, especially their fresh and sprayed produce.

Hadn't been there in years, but the store was very clean and well stocked. My grand daughter said that she's going to stop going to the Walmart because EXTRA was much better! She is only 15 and this was her first time going to this market. Bye Bye Walmart 👋!

This place is really great. The meat selection is so impressive, they have everything! Really organized and just gigantic.

The establishment is clean and it has good customer service. The clerks are always friendly and courteous. And most of them are bilingual speaking English and Spanish. Every day there are discounts and "Manager's Special". And the supermarket caters to the American, Latin, and the Caribbean customers. So one is able to buy both domestic and foreign products. I've been going there for years and am always satisfied. Thank you Extra Supermarket. I give you two thumbs up!!!

Very convenient, for the most part, everything seems fresh I'm able to purchase some of my country's products here.

Extra supermarket is expensive as far as groceries and seafood HOWEVER the cold cut/lunch meat department is superb 👌🏿 sandwiches are on point HOT FOOD is delicious 😋 I love the baked Salmon especially most importantly although I moved across town FRIENDLY PHARMACY located in the facility I've been rocking with for almost 17 years!

Best prices on groceries in the area. You can also find all your cultural foods as well.
I buy all my Jamaican food here and all my meats. Check in for the sales, they update it weekly. And the best time to shop is in the morning; since its popular it will get crowded.

Great people that work the register

This place is awesome. Best way to find thing are by yourself. Workers are to cramped trying to multitask and train each other. No professionalism. But other wise prices are great for the groceries. They also have snow crabs. They steam them and shrimps as well for the seafood eaters. Those who work in the area the also sell cooked food. Mini restaurant when you enter.

One of my favorite stores to shop in, as they have foods and products from all over the world. Large and affordable produce selection with lots of harder to find produce such as bitter oranges, raw tumeric, aloe, star fruit, etc. Their meats are fresh and fairly priced. Also a great store for spiritual needs as I get many of my spiritual supplies from here as well. Very helpful staff, lots of fast cashiers, the store is brightly lit and clean, and they handle large crowds really well. I never spend a ridiculous amount of time online unless it's a holiday and even then never more than 10 minutes. Highly recommend as one of the best ethnic and multicultural grocers in town. It's a jewel in jersey city.
