This may very well be the best deli in stanley and period when it comes to breakfast and sandwiches. This compliment is just for their food because the staff is horrible and they always have an attitude!

This is a wonderful store, ran by an even more wonderful man. I’ve known Max (the owner) for 10 years now, and he is one of the most accommodating, kind, good-hearted men I’ve ever met. This “Susan,” who left a one star review, has made some really hurtful claims, and it should be known that everything she has said is false. He would never harm anyone, no matter what they did. He holds his store to the same standards that he holds himself to, which are very high. Max looks out for his customers and treats them like family. I cannot stand by while she tries to bring dishonor upon him and all the hard work he has put into his store. Do not hesitate to stop by and grab something to eat. He will treat you with respect and offer you kindness.

Max is one of the most friendly and helpful guys you'll ever meet. And if you can look past the layout of the store, definitely sit down (or take it to go) for one of his famous eggs on a roll, can't be beaten!

Stumbled upon this little deli and enjoyed a delicious egg sandwich accompanied by excellent and friendly service! Totally recommend if you’re in the neighborhood!

Great breakfast sandwiches and perfect location for grabbing food right off the bike path. Owner was so helpful and recommended a place to eat outside

Max is the best! No matter if you need chips, beer or cat food. Max has a little bit of everything. Almost everything.
If you need something he doesn't carry, let him know and he will get it for you!

Just make sure he is open before you walk to the little corner store. Because only these hours are accurate: he opens in the morning when he wakes up and he's closing when he's getting tired.
