8th Day Caterers

We've used 8th Day several times and their service and food has always been excellent.

I'm an out-of-towner with only daughters and my daughter had a boy. I had no clue what to do! I spoke to many caterers but then I would have to coordinate balloons/decorations with another vendor...and then I spoke with 8th Day Caterers. It was just an email exchange. I was sent the menu, I ordered online and then I just showed up. Food was yummy, table looked adorable, everyone was happy and fed.

We’ve been blessed to make brises 11 weeks apart for a grandson in June and twin grandsons this morning. Each time I spoke with Ari he was attentive, accommodating, and personable. Really helps make a beautiful Simcha!

Our family party of 50 was wonderful! The food was presented beautifully, was tasty, and there was plenty of it. Excess food was wrapped carefully by your waitstaff and delivered by our friend Danny Chazin to the Bergenfield food pantry. Your two waiters were excellent, very professional, efficient, and a pleasure to work with. Thanks!

We used 8th Day Caterers for our son's bris in Washington Heights. They did a fantastic job! Everything was setup so nicely. I loved the central display with the toy train and winnie the pooh. They also threw in pancakes for us as a gift - which was incredibly nice of them!

We'veused them for our Bris.
It was important for us there will be good food and Variety.
We were able to work it out with them - although communication was hard, partially because it was Purim.
In the end of the day -During the event itself they were just superb and all of the guests including those from Israel were giving endless compliments

We used 8th Day Catering for our son's bar mitzvah. They were so nice to work with. They even threw in lighting for the hall at no extra charge ($1000 value)! We were very happy with the results. I was making my son's brit (circumcision) and found myself without a caterer the day before the event. Neshama was amazing. She came to my rescue with less than 24 hours to go and didn't make me feel like she was doing me a favor, which she really was. The setup was stunning, the food was really good, and the wait staff was phenomenal. This was the easiest catering experience ever. Within 1 hour of being in contact, everything was booked, and most of that time was me getting stuff together on my end. Thank you so much for such a fantastic experience. I hired 8th Day to cater my son's bris recently. They were a pleasure to work with. Neshama in the office is so sweet and accommodating. They arrived early, set up and were ready to roll right on time. The food was delicious and plentiful. They even set up a whole train track with working trains that was an adorable centerpiece! I will use them again in the future!

My husband and I came to the bar mitzvah from the great NW ! What a trip for us, been so long since we've been on the east coast. This bar mitzvah was AMAZING !!!! We couldn't believe we were so pampered, everything was gorgeous. We felt like we were royalty with how we were treated and even my requests for food changes were treated with respect (I have many food allergies)...who does that ? I can tell you, that's hard to find. I have a huge family on the East coast so I know I'll be telling them about this catering company !! Wondering if they're selling stock......:)

8th day caterers did a spectacular event for us. They they were professional, friendly and reasonable. The food was delicious, execution flawless. I would highly recommend them to all my friends and family and plan to use them again!

I’ve used 8th Day for dozens of simchas. That’s how good they are. The food is delicious, the planning and service is first class, and the customer service is top notch. There’s no doubt in my mind that they will cater the seudas livyoson bimhairah biyamainu amen mamish. Kimoy shekosuv “Haters gonna hate hate hate.”

I worked in the catering business many years ago. I know the hard work that goes into making an event come together. So after attending a Bar Mitzvah I got to say 8th Day did a fantastic job. Their food was delicious and the staff was courteous. Thanks again.

Fantastic kosher food. Delicious and nutritious. Catered the shul kiddush at Congregation Ramath Orah, on the Upper West Side of New York City, in honor of our eldest daughter and son-in-law. I recently tasted 8th Day food at The Jewish Center of Teaneck, New Jersey.

We used 8th day for our sons upsherin. Food was delicious and the customer service was amazing. Dovid even threw in pizza to the menu for free!!

The best all Kosher catering for your big events. Brises are their specialty but they do everything wonderfully!! Call them!
