Great farm to table restaurant using ingredients from local farms. On top of their menu consisting of light dishes (think deviled eggs, roasted brussel sprouts), salads, and large entrees (fish&chips, chicken and waffle sliders, etc.), they have added BBQ.

I had the pulled bbq sandwich with mac n' cheese and baked beans on the side. The pork had a nice flavor from the seasoning and smoke. There was just the right amount of BBQ sauce. The baked beans were in a nice thick sauce with shredded burnt ends. A nice meal for a rainy night. The pork also went well with the mac n' cheese surprisingly. I might try their brisket with the mac n' cheese.

It is a BYOB, so pick up something from one of local breweries, wineries, or distilleries and enjoy.

A fantastic job accommodating our family of 15 for the birthday lunch out on the Grange porch. Just fabulous food and great service. Healthy, fresh options - a great afternoon! Thank you, it could not have been better!!

Me and the wife was at the village, so we decided to eat here on the way out, we were greeted nicely, told that it was a buffet, we were not disappointed, the service was impeccable, the food was off the charts!!! place was clean, the staff very attentive to us, and the price for what you get is unbelievable for the shore, will definitely be back

First time there on the spur of the moment, but it won't be the last! Enjoyed every minute from the time we walked in. Excellent meal. Wait staff very attentive.

This is called Cold Springs Brewery. Not the restaurant. No food service, just some snacks and you can bring your own food
Good variety of beer. Nice rustic atmosphere. Went Saturday afternoon had an excellent live band!

We stopped here for lunch on Thursday. We had the charred octopus, which we split as an appetizer, and lobster rolls. The food was absolutely fantastic! The lobster roll is the best I've ever had. In addition to the phenomenal food our server Megan was amazing. Even though they usually don't have desert offerings for lunch, she whipped up some waffle ice cream sandwiches for us. This place is worth the trip, and we will definitely return the next time we are in Cape May.

My wife and two grown children were spending our last (midweek) night in Cape May and had experienced some wonderful dining experiences. We were the only table seated and I joked about having bought out the restaurant for my special family. (The staff went along). It was as if we had each ordered our favorite meals prepared by our favorite cooks. My son and wife raved about the chicken pot pie and my daughter said the crab cakes were some of the best she has tasted. I am from the South and a connoisseur of fried chicken. The buttermilk fried chicken was worth the three hour drive alone. The appetizers were fresh and delicious as well. This was a perfect finish to a wonderful Fall getaway. The restaurant is a jewel and I can't wait to return.

Went for Brunch on Sunday with my family and we sat out on the porch. When we were first seated we were pleasently greeted by our server Tiffany, she explained the menu and described the dishes perfectly. Almost everyone at our table had a different choice. Food came out with beautiful presentation and was delicious. Service was very attentive with out being to pushy. Highly recommend, great spot for a family meal, along with great service.

I don’t think they are doing any indoor seating just yet so I thought we might sit on the porch where there are several tables. We got there shortly after opening and we noticed a brewery right next door. The hostess encouraged us to go over there and was kind enough to offer to bring our food to us as it’s only a few feet away. We ended up enjoying some drinks while we waited for our food and as promised it was brought over to us. Everything we ordered was really good but the brussel sprouts were AMAZING. I highly recommend a trip here!

Food was excellent and fresh! From our apps to our meals we enjoyed every bite. The staff was wonderful and the waitress worked with my diet restrictions seamlessly making sure I had a full plate that was delicious. Definitely a hidden gem that we will go to again.

Low key fine dining nine minutes from the Cape May beaches. This is a get drunk on your own dime kind of place, so bring your own. That is constantly changing parts of the menu depending on what's the best food products they have around. They are open for dining most of the day (even lunch) and do take out if you want.

Been here for lunch, dinner, and brunch each time is an amazing experience. The staff is friendly and the food is some of the best food cape may county has to offer with great attention to detail and flavor. If you are looking for fresh ingredients i highly suggest everything on the menu. My favorite is the disco tots at lunch

This place has an amazing Yorkshire Dip, (think French Dip but better) served with the most delicious fries and pickled veggies. We also tried the chocolate pudding. It was divine! The brewery is right next door and we tried a flight, which is a must!

We just spent a lovely week in Cape May, and our two visits to The Old Grange Restaurant largely contributed to make it so enjoyable!

We dined there on our first night in town and made it a priority to return before heading back home: the dinner menu is rather limited, due to the fact that the restaurant is truly family-run, the main team being a mother/son duo. Still, we had plenty of choices for two dinners of 2 adults and 2 children. The first night, I chose a shrimp skewer and polenta dish, which was perfectly cooked and lovely garnished with arugula salad and stuffed tomato. The polenta base was Parmesan-cheese infused and acted as a great complement to the grilled shrimp. I am from Italy and know polenta, this one was not second to any other I tried at home! My husband had a very juicy pork chop with a side of mashed potatos, as well as the stuffed tomato; and our kids feasted on a delicious grilled cheese sandwich (white cheddar) and chicken fingers and home-cut french fries. Most of the veggies used nightly come from the garden the owner tends next door. Speaking of the owners, Jake and Ro are wonderful people, who let you feel as part of their extended family! Jake welcomed us with a sample of an antipasto of their home-grown, home-made spicy green pepper slowly roasted in E.V.O.O. (so amazing that we bought a jar and ate it during our week stay in Cape May!), while Ro came out of the office to enjoy a little conversation in her native Italian with me. I rarely felt more at home than on this lovely piece of land in Cape May County... the dessert almost surpassed the rest of the meal, with a choice of fresh NJ blueberry bread pudding and a rice pudding with fresh whipped cream, one was even better than the other! The second time we went (we missed their lunch, because of our spending the day at the beach but we wished we could have tried some of their appetizing sandwiches!), I had the best chicken pot pie I've ever tried, and my husband tried the shepard's pie prepared with braised short ribs!! Everything was really fresh and tasted wholesome! Speaking again with Ro about her family run Farm to Table restaurant, I understood how the pride for well cooked healthy food was instilled in her by her dad, and how she has passed this passion both to her son, the chef, and to her husband who grows the vegetables that they use daily in their menu. On both nights we were waited on by Billie, a fun and professional young man who was also very warm with us and our children (he surprised my kids with his riddles and me with his passion about his work place!)

In all, this restaurant is a true gem, nested inside the interesting Cold Spring Living History Village, and totally worth the short trip from Cape May town! Far for the madding crowd, and into the arms of comforting good food.

It was my second visit. Both times I stopped in and had a beer which was delicious! The second visit I walked the grounds with some friends. It truly is a cool place to visit😊
