El Greco Restaurant

I honestly do not know why El Greco would receive anything less than 5 stars!
I have been coming here for the better part of 25 years and it is always reliable for a filling meal.
My wife and I came here over a year ago, as I talked it up. However, this recent trip was for breakfast and did not disappoint. She got the bacon eggs benedict and I got the meat lovers skillet. She then got a sticky bun and a bearclaw to go.
The eggs benedict were a massive portion and the sauce was almost too thick and rich, but she made do! The meat lovers skillet was amazing as it was SO full of sausage, ham, and bacon! If you like meat, this is the one for you! The sticky bun and almond horn were nice and sweet, making for a good aperitif.
The dessert case is so full of goodness that we wanted a bit of everything. Too bad we had other plans for today and it would have gone bad.
When in Milwaukee, make sure you stop by and get some heaping portions and great dessert!

Wide variety of food from Greek to classic American, Mexican, Italian... pretty much any classic dish you may be craving will be found on the menu. I have only had a couple dishes that I didn't thoroughly enjoy, but have found many that I would definitely order again. My husband and son love the 1/2 broasted chicken dinner. I love the gyros and the all-day breakfast menu is fantastic. The homemade bread and rolls are fantastic, especially the pumpkin hallah bread, which is amazing.

Servers are friendly and helpful, even when they are understaffed. The desserts in the dessert case are huge portions, made fresh, and the best you can imagine, including cakes, cheesecake, baklava, cinnamon rolls and much more. We always pick one to take home and enjoy later. Most desserts can be easily split 2-4 ways. The cheesecake is the best I've ever tasted, and I'm not usually a fan of cheesecake. While the decor hasn't been updated in a while, the place feels clean and friendly. Prices are extremely reasonable, especially for the delicious desserts. We are almost always seated immediately, and the wait times for food are reasonable.

This is nice laid back and old fashioned and you can bring your children I love the cake behind the glass by the entrance so nostalgic so if you have not been you won’t be disappointed

First timer. Food was DELICIOUS! We had roast leg of lamb special, San Fran burger. Ended with tapioca pudding and plain cheesecake. Lamb was very tender and flavorful. Hamburger cooked perfectly and juicy. Baked potato just right. Homemade tapioca and cheesecake tasted great. Would recommend!

El Greco is one of the last of its kind- an old fashioned Greek family restaurant. A true gem!! Great service, warm atmosphere, good food and all the natural light is amazing! If you haven't eaten there, you've been missing out!

Always reliable, always decent food at a decent price. Clean, well run professional restaurant owners. Plenty of room inside. Amazing desert case, very good pancakes for breakfast. Never dissapoints. A welcome place for breakfast or lunch in a tough part of town.

My mom loves this place for breakfast, so I decided to try it as well. I ordered an omelet with hash browns and it was really good. I would love to eat inside next time since there was lots if people dining in and the staff were helpful and friendly.

Very nice servers. Food was amazing! Prices very reasonable. If you are looking for a restaurant to visit in Santorini this should definitely be on your list.

12.30.23 Saturday. It was very good experience. The seating for 3: Me, my son and his gf. Went quickly. The variety of food selection was very good. We ordered appetizers and before we ate some, our main dishes were served. So even if the parking lot seemed full, food prep time to me seemed very quick. I think from ordering to serving, it was probably 15-20 mins? Overall, I really liked this experience. Who knows what it will be like a year from now? But if you're needing a place to try that is pretty much a fusion of different cultures, give El Greco a try. Take care!

Ok soooooo... while visiting Milwaukee my husband and I were invited to meet up with our realtor at El Greco. Let me tell you I HAD NO IDEA! I am NOT a fan of any restaurant that has a vast list of options. In my experience that usually means the food is subpar. Not El Greco.. there food was fantastic. What a great price and excellent quality. I ordered the shrimp fettuccine Alfredo.. the shrimp was so good. My husband ordered the Gyro dinner plate and loved it. We will definitely be back when we mover here next month.

It was great and I liked the prices very much, in Chicago the prices are higher and the portions are smaller, I will definitely come back when I go to you

I love eating here. It has a very friendly atmosphere, and is a great eatery for the family. I also love the staff. They are wonderful.

Oh my goodness the portions!! Great food at a great price! Staff was very friendly, food came pretty quick and was hot and fresh. We had a party of six and was accommodated easily. I would definitely return.

I love El Grecos. The staff is nice and friendly. They messed up my order one time, and weeks later I called to place another order. Before I can order, the lady over the phone said this meal is free so order anything you want. Excellent customer service👌

We've been dining with El Greco's for almost 30 yrs and we love it here! Food is always good, service always on point and the strawberry cheesecake makes the experience even better! Keep up the good work El Greco's!
