Sakura Sushi & Steak House

When I visit my sister in nebraska we always make at least one trip to Sakura because she and the kids love the food here. The entertainment of the chef varies. Some are more enthusiastic in the preparation than others but usually a good laugh and generally a good egg tosser to those with the biggest mouths at the table lol But just one small warning for the ladies that use hairspray, lean way back when you see that lighter come out 🤣 Overall fun place to go and pretty good food.

This was a good choice for dinner. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere to it. A little warm temperature wise. The staff is pretty speedy and attentive. Drinks came to the table fast. I ordered the green dragon roll and the husker roll. Both had a quality presentation value and came out looking fresh. The taste was great as well, alot of flavor. I also ordered the octopus sashimi which I liked and the squid sashimi which I didn't like the texture of. I also got two glasses of plum wine which hinted flavors aiming towards a port style wine, and it was delicious. I would recommend this restaurant. A+

We used to live in Norfolk and Sakura was one of my favorites. We make sure to stop every time we are visiting town. Their sushi and hibachi is delicious. Staff is also always friendly.

Wide ranging menu. Japanese cuisine plus steaks. Sushi, sashimi, teriyaki, tempura, and hibachi meals. Large portions. Friendly wait staff. They serve alcohol. A bit pricey but well worth it. Would have to drive 90 miles to Omaha to find a similar restaurant.

Great place for all ages and the price is very reasonable for the quality and amount of the food and service.

This place is a gem for Norfolk, NE. I highly recommend the hibachi salmon. It's seared perfectly and seasoned well. Best seared salmon I have had ever. Better than 70 plates in Omaha by a long shot.

Came in for lunch and ordered a variety. Loved every bite! Will absolutely be back again!

Amazing experience and the food was delicious.
We just went again last night for my daughter's birthday and it was so much fun. She got to light the fire in the beginning! Service and food was fantastic.

Beautiful and very tasty sushi. I would recommend it if you want sushi in the area.

A little update would be great but the food and service are always wonderful and the servers and cooks and the owners are fabulous people! Definitely a wonderful addition of the community! If you go, try the salmon. It is always so good!

Love this place. Sushi is always delicious. Had the udon soup for the first time, and the broth was fantastic. You also can’t go wrong with the clear soup. So good! Even though it’s really hard to understand the wait staff they are always friendly and attentive. Plus food always comes out quick.

Sakura is absolutely amazing! It’s very delicious! They have option for dine in and carry out. They also have traditional dining as well as the hibachi! The hibachi is well worth the price. The chef’s are very professional and funny! They put on a great show. Check it out!

I have going to this place for a long time. Sakura Bana used to be located on the North Side of the Children Hospital in Omaha, NE it was name Sushi Ichiban. The place is small but the atmosphere is unique and the foods are very authentic. I highly recommend the place for good sushi. They are moved now on 72nd and Dodge.

Very good food. The prices may be a little higher than your average restaurant for the area, but it's a great value.

I strongly recommend. The food is awesome. The service is excellent and professional. The place gives you the sense of a British Bistro and also discretion if you find a great spot.
It was a great experience and I'm looking forward to visiting them again.
