Big Red Restaurant & Sports Bar - Norfolk

Our waitress was on top of things. She came back frequently to check on us. The food was yummy - even the fried still pickles (I was skeptical when we ordered them). A little noisy, but not so much that it reverberated off the walls. My Yahoo salad was nice—lots of toppings and a small layer of lettuce. We got our drinks quickly. Enjoyable.

A group of three of us recently ate there. Our server was fantastic and the food equally as wonderful. It's a little on the pricey side for what it is, but because everything was so good I didn't leave feeling like it was a bad decision.

Clean atmosphere, a lot of TV's, and friendly staff. A lot of different kinds of beer that is always cold. Awesome place to go on Husker Game Day!

OMG! THIS IS AWESOME!!! There are TVs on the wall so that U don't get bored (On the sport channels, especially), the service is lovely, very polite and outgoing staff, and, of course, the food is GO~OOD. The pretzels and beer-cheese dip are INDESCRIBABLE!! The fries are specially seasoned and the Western burger is DELICIOUS! ♡♡♡

We had a new puppy and were staying at the hotel next door so got take-out. Food and service were great, atmosphere looked fun would have liked to have a beer.

Make sure to go early and you'll see all the good looking women, but the place turns into all homo staff at night the nachos were good and the beer 🍺 was frosty 👌

We always enjoy going to Big Red when we visit Norfolk. It has become a bit of a tradition. Great prices, big serving sizes (leftovers taken home), great service and fun atmosphere!

Went there with my family Monday and I'm telling you what the service was great. The food was amazing. I couldn't believe how good the food was. I haven't been there since pre-COVID. It definitely will be going back. Everything that everybody ordered was more than we expected. Thank you

The food here is amazing! Delicious and your plate groans from the weight/size of the servings! Good selection of menu items. Wait staff always friendly. Service good even when they are quite busy. Wait time isnt usually long to receive your orders. Fun and comfortably casual place to meet friends to grab a bite and lose a couple of dollars!

Great food, fast service, and reasonable prices for eating and drinks. Televisions everywhere with most booths offering your own small TV you can control. Great place for drinks/food and to watch all local and regional sports as well as professional sports. Keno gambling on site and runs nonstop throughout their hours of operation. Love this place.

I love this place. They make their customers feel like family. It is a bit noisy because it's always busy, but it has amazing service and the food is great! They have a pretty good drink selection to enjoy with your meal. They also offer wine. I eat at this place at least once a week with my two kids and husband.

I have gotten the same thing there ever since they opened! The patty melt. I always ask for a couple side dips of honey mustard to go with it.

Great place to go eat, the food is so good and they have like a thousand TVs where you can watch football or other stuff but mostly that. 5 starts that easy.

My wife and I just moved to Norfolk, so we decided to try them....got there around 11:15 am as they just opened, we had Morgan as our waitress....she was very prompt and courteous....we told her we wanted to try the Elephant Ear...funny name for a piece of pork....in a matter of just a few minutes...our order and drinks were delivered to our table just as we ordered them....my wife and I enjoyed the meal very much....and we did not have to ask 2 or 3 times for drink refills....Morgan was there every time to take care of us.... she did a great job....we definitely will be back

Food was delicious! I had the nachos and my husband had steak and shrimp. Drinks were cold and poured well! Staff was friendly and attentive.

Everything here is consistent. Even without coupons available on the back of certain receipts, the prices are reasonable and they give you quite a bit for your money. The atmosphere is that of a restaurant with that bar element and not the other way around. Kid friendly. The staff is very awesome as well. Lots of parking. Has a sand volleyball court outside.

Always a good time. Have many tv’s for sports and you have the outdoor volleyball sand courts during the warmer months. And of course keno! Good food and drinks. Recommended.
