Bonnie Rae's Cafe

Excellent small town diner worth going out of your way to eat here. I gave it a small hit on the atmosphere as they had Fox (not news) Entertainment on the TV.

Absolutely perfect! We stopped on our way home from a trip to Whitewater State Park and we're so glad. Clean restaurant. Friendly staff. Excellent food! A true gem. Highly recommend the cinnamon french toast. 👌

Absolutely delicious grilled chicken bacon wrap & onion rings! Fast quick friendly service! A wonderful breakfast restaurant too!

On our two day weekend trip through Minnesota, we were lucky enough to stop at Bonnie Rae's in Rollingstone. What a neat and tidy cafe!!! It seemed like half the town had gathered here on Sunday, which we took as a good sign. We had already had breakfast, but there was still room for a pancake. A wonderfully fluffy, delicious pancake. With equally delicious coffee. In a place where luckily time has stood still a bit (although there is internet connection). Bonnie gave us a warm farewell and we hope that her café will remain this wonderful place for cultural encounters for a long time to come.

Excellent small town Cafe to get a real good meal. Friendly staff, excellent service everybody always has a smile on their face. Dave is a hell of a nice guy.

Stopped in after a hike at Whitewater State Park to fuel up. Had a couple of delicious wraps and Bonnie Rae and crew were very friendly! Will definitely be back next time we’re in the area.

A scenic drive to my favorite breakfast/lunch stop when traveling through SE, MN. It’s locally owned and managed has been serving breakfast and homemade pies at the cafe counter for over 100 years. Breakfast skillets, simple over-easy eggs, pancakes and criminan rolls are my favorites. Their daily breakfast and lunch specials add variety to other freshly made menu choices.

I love my Bonnie Rae's breakfasts! They have good food, good service, it's a clean place, and they're nice people!
Another update ... the food continues to be fantastic! The service is very good and the atmosphere is small town, country charm, clean, wholesome, old-fashioned, breakfast and lunch restaurant.
The place is worth a try. The crowd is the same every morning! Delicious breakfast sausage patties!

the staff is amazing and friendly and they have the best breakfast I have ever had at any restaurant or café. I love going here when we are down at our camper for the weekend. if you haven't been the Bonnie Raes then you are missing out.

Drove 153 miles to eat at Bonnie Rae's and I must say it was worth the trip. We've always enjoyed the trip along the river and thought we'd try this little place. Thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Our server was so nice. Told us all about the town and when the owner heard we were going to be taking a road trip on The Great River Road, he gave us tips on some neat places to stop along the way 😀

Consistent delicious quality every time we have visited. The mini jack is delicious. The dave burger is amazing, especially in late July when they make all their burgers with ripe sweet beefsteak tomatoes.
Update 2022: everything is perfection. You will never have a better breakfast than Bonnie Raes! 8am is a great time to go on a Sunday to beat the church rush.

Had the special. Fiesta Skillet. Excellent food, attentive and great staff... coffee cup never got close to empty. Crystal is doing a great job carrying forward the traditions laid out by her folks

Bonnie's has been a staple in Rollinstone since I was young. It's the classic small town diner, I always make it in there at least once when I go home to visit. Great breakfast and lunch specials, with amazing soups and desserts too. Service is always friendly and quick. Dave and Bonnie are still there cooking up great food with a friendly atmosphere.

some of the best just off the beaten path food in Minnesota! definitely recommend all the food but especially love Dave's omelet and the chicken bacon wrap!
