Jo Jo's Drive-In

This place is a banger. The customer service is an absolute 10/10 they were so nice and efficient. Don’t even get me started on the food it was mouth watering🤤. They also had rum cherry ice cream which is my dad’s favorite, and he only knows of one other place that sells it. The food is also so fresh and hot. I am now incredibly sad that it has closed for the winter, because I will gladly drive 50 min from my house just to go here. The seating is also very nice, you can go sit at an outdoor picnic bench or eat in your car. If they bring it to your car it also acts as takeout. If you ever go to Independence I one million percent recommend you go here.

We totally stopped here because our kids name is the same 😂, but man am I glad that we did. Everything was hot, enjoyed the root beer floats, cheese curds, burgers, and all the other things. Service was excellent. Couldn't have asked for a better stop on our roadtrip

We are lucky to have a local drive-in. When our grands come they so look forward to going to JoJo’s! The food is always good. The portions are generous. And the wait-staff is kind and courteous.

Fast friendly service. Icecream was delicious, got a cookie dough cone. Root beer was really good too!

An Independence staple! We always look forward to the JoJos season and stop relatively regularly for ice cream.

We don’t normally get food, but when we do it’s good. I personally like the Gyro and waffle fries.

Ice cream Flavor of the week and shake of the week have a great variety and some are really interesting and fun!

The service is always good. There are a lot of teen, first job employees and they are trained well.

They do get busy at times, and there can be a wait; especially in very nice days and if there is a ball game in town. They handle the rush times well.

We’ll continue to frequent JoJo’s regardless of weather or how packed the parking lot is. We love it!

Jojo’s is a staple of Independence. The staff is always friendly and the milkshakes are always a favorite. The have picnic tables with umbrellas if you want to order at the windows & eat outside, otherwise, they come out to your vehicle to take your order.

If I could give Jojo’s a 10 Star Review I would! We stopped in there tonight for supper and after I got home, we noticed are burger wasn’t what it was suppose to be so I called and explained what happened, so we went back to pick up our burger. Jerome (the owner) came out, and apologies immediately gave me the burger and a gift certificate as well. This was the first “mistake” we’ve had in all the times we’ve gone there, but we will definitely be back for more!

All you need to know is the FOOD AWESOME, SERVICE AWESOME, owner even came out and said hi🙂. We are a family of 7 and all kids loved the food too. We had burgers, chicken strips, cheese curds, onion rings, awesome fries, and grilled cheese. The kids also loved the twist cones. The waitress didn't flinch with our huge order. The wait for the food was short.
Easy to find and will be a new tradition for or family. We live about an hour away and it wiil be so worth the drive. I HIGHLY recommend Jo Jo's Drive-In❤❤❤

This place is awesome! The food isn't sitting under a hot lamp so it's always hot and fresh! The soft serve ice cream is also delicious! The service is awesome, with great prices!

Our family stopped at jo jos for lunch. The food was great and 3 of us ate for less that $20. We also tried their malts and the only place we can find a butterscotch! Great service. We will be back!

Excellent food and service. We had a group of ten and they did a great job of getting all of our food out to us fresh and hot. No one had to wait.
