Such a great shop to have locally! I have received several recommendations from Carlos, and every single bottle has been superb. Bonus, all his bottles are extremely affordable; I normally spend no more than $20 on a bottle.

I wish I could have a wine store like Palate close to home. Every time I visit upstate NY, I take advantage of the trip to stock up on wine at the best prices. I was super surprised the prices were soooo reasonable. This place is like a wine boutique and the owner was there the times I visited the store, providing amazing service and making the experience more enjoyable with his knowledge and personality.

We regularly visit Palette Wines and we have to say it’s always a delightful experience. The owner is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and makes us feel right at home. We also had the pleasure of meeting their adorable and sweet dogs who add to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The wine selection is impressive and diverse, with a great variety of options to choose from. We are pleasantly surprised by the affordable prices, which means we can enjoy some really delicious wine without breaking the bank. I could not rate this place high enough. The owner is knowledgeable about wine, and he can recommend something based on your personal flavor preferences. I have never been disappointed by a wine he has recommended and appreciate how he always recommends something in the $20 price range. The owner also has two very calm, friendly dogs which are a great bonus to my mid week wine stop.

This wine shop is excellent! It’s hard to find good quality French wines and so we are lucky to have a shop like this in Newburgh with thoughtfully selected wines. It’s night and day from the junk that the Newburgh liquor stores carry.

Since this petite wine and spirits boutique opened, I've made a point to make most of my purchases here. Very carefully curated selection, and salespeople like Yaakov and Steven and the owner are super helpful in pointing out great recommendations at very reasonable price points. Local cider and a special section dedicated to the hard stuff, make it a great Newburgh stop for gifts. FREE tastings on Fridays, along with a convivial atmosphere and brief lessons on the origin of each new wine add to the..spirit!

Great wine store in the beautiful City of Newburgh, NY. A favorite place to find some more unique wines. Love the taste tests to find new things. This week I tasted Vermouth for the first time. What a great addition to my repertoire.
