The Glass Tavern

Small portions, so don't expect a take home container for later. Everything we have tried so far has been delicious. Love their jalapeno corn bread so much that I make it at home on a regular basis. My personal favorite is their fresh raw bar. Ahh, the oysters! Great service and very nice place!

This place is the total BOMB!!!! I loved their oysters, mussels and everything they serve. They started off with this amazing jalapeno cornbread that was just moist and tasty with little bit of kick. Came on a Monday night for their oysters and mussels special. I ate wonderfully at this place. This is definitely a must go place if you crave great seafood and service.

It started off rough we had made a reservation for 4 people, we noticed we were running late I believe it was 20 to 30 minutes . We called to inform and they said OK no problem, all set. When we got there we were informed there was no table available for us. I was upset but I understood . We sat at the raw bar grabbed some apps and waited for a table to open up. It was their jazz night so we listened and talked with a glass of wine and the apps. A table opened up for us near the fireplace which was awesome, I was happy about that really sets the tone, we ordered dinner and wine starting to enjoying ourselves, the host tells us that one round of drinks were on the house. We were stunned and thankful they had saw our distress with the situation. After dinner they also offered us complimentary dessert. Thank you Glass tavern for an excellent customer service we will be back and the book idea is really awesome.

Outstanding food. Very nice ambiance. Attentive service. Nice evening with friends. Not cheap. But not outrageous either.

Went the other night with my wife and in laws for my wife's birthday. This was probably the best dining experience I have ever had. The food was unbelievable. I ordered a steak cooked medium rare and it was cooked to perfection. Everyone else at the table said their food was cooked perfect as well. Also what absolutely makes the experience the best was the service, our waitress Meg, was very nice, quick with everything we needed and just helped with our overall experience. With the restraunt packed, she never missed a beat. Also, the decorations in the building are amazing. It has the nice rustic barn feel. The prices are very reasonable for the amazing food and I will definitely be back. My wife is already begging me to take her!

The place is deceptively cozy inside. (Not what one expects from the appearance of the exterior). Much better atmosphere, meaning less noisy, than most of the restaurants that opened in this area in recent years. Conversation can be had at normal speaking levels. The menu, though not really extensive, offers fare that should appeal to most. I had short ribs and shrimp which was like eating Mom's home cooking if Mom is a talented cook. MB had braised pork which was crazy good. We are going to return soon.

I absolutely loved it. Great gluten free options. Even GF lava cake! They care a lot about making their customers happy. Strip steak was so tender, although my husband thought it was a bit burnt. Very good martini. Nice large glass.

Looking at the outside of the building you will be blown away when you go inside and find this warm inviting place . Great place for food they have a oyster bar . Plus there is a great wine selection .

I cannot Express how amazing this place is. The drinks are superb and the owners and staff are incredibly friendly. I always come here whenever I'm in town for a reason: it's the best around. The pricing is moderate and about what you would expect for the area. The place is very clean and well organized. The decor is modern and luxurious. The restaurant even has a private room you can rent out if you are so inclined which is very nice. It is well lit where it needs to be, and has the proper mood lighting where it needs to be as well. I cant reccomend this place enough. If you are close by, THIS is where you go.

My family and I visited the Glass Tavern on a Sunday evening for dinner. We were seated immediately and offered some jalopeno corn bread, which was very tasty. Our appetizer of calamari arrived quickly and was very good. Our meals, all seafood, were served promptly and were delicious. The server was friendly and attentive. We were quite pleased with our experience and would highly recommend the Glass Tavern.

Our server, Alex has a great personality and she makes excellent drinks! She recommended numerous items off the menu and her recommendations were great! We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our meal. We will definitely return soon!

We visited the glass tavern for their monthly seafood boil. We were extremely impressed with everything. The food was great, the service was great, and the place itself is very cool. Great atmosphere in the restaurant. We will def be back next month! This place always seems to have very cool events, we can't wait to check out some of their other themed nights.

When my in-laws visit we always take them here. It's a little fancy, but not fancy enough to not have a kids menu. We never complain about the food, there's something for everyone and its delicious. Haven't tried the ceviche yet, maybe next time.

This was our first time at the glass tavern. Everything was amazing from booking the reservation to making sure the flowers I had sent were waiting at our table. Our server was also very down to earth and friendly and the dinner was amazing as well, I would recommend the glass tavern to any one, not only on date night, but any time. We will definitely be returning! !

The food was absolutely amazing and the server Brittany was just the sweetest young lady. Her mannerism put the icing on the cake. Thank you for a wonderful evening Brittany! I look forward to coming back for more great food and wonderful services.

This place was absolutely wonderful everything we had was terrific from the raw seafood at the Raw Bar to the pasta dish which had wonderful Lodge shrimp and terrific sausage to the perfectly cooked steak and very original starters and appetizers. The Raw Bar appetizer for two was almost enough for for dinner and the extremely large entrees fit well in a take-home box.

My first time here and it is a beautiful, rustic, classy restaurant with attentive, friendly and warm staff. Excellent wines and atmosphere. You would never know from the outside location what a true gem this is! Will be back to try dinner soon!

Monday’s are a must at this place! Muscles are fantastic and PBRs for a buck! Friendly service and great atmosphere!
