Betty's Snack Bar

I was visiting from Australia and this spot became my go to for a morning coffee and breakfast. Everything was freshly made, the staff were friendly. Also, if you need some milk or a few pantry items then this is great place to pick those up.

Great food and cool spot. Stopped here while traveling on I-84. Right next to Washington’s headquarters which is a nice park. Indoor and outdoor seating available.

We lived the chill Saturday breakfast vibe, great music great food. Had the Avocado Bially and Maura had fruit yogurt parfait, both great. Excellent coffee.

Such a friendly and comforting vibe at Betty’s! I love the fried chicken sandwich and all of their different varieties of cider and other beverages. Lovely seating and beautiful views.

I order scones all of the time, and I am always disappointed. Betty's has the BEST SCONES EVER!!! I'll be back:)

Love this new coffee ☕ shop. It’s been open from July 2023. It has a nice cozy atmosphere and the food tasted so light and fresh (see picture below). Has a pretty nice view from the window side especially when that beautiful sunlight is peaking through the trees, and honestly I felt I was in nyc for a moment. Probably my go new go to coffee shop in Newburgh, NY. Definitely will be back.

met up with some friends for a quick breakfast/brunch. super tasty. got the breakfast burrito. did not disappoint.

My husband and I stopped in here for brunch on a Sunday, really loved it. We both got the classic "blue plate special" eggs w/ biscuits and bacon/sausage. The strawberry butter was an awesome touch! The owner was bartending and we had a lovely friendly chat.

The absolute best in Newburgh. Love stopping in for lunch and a coffee during the week or popping into the bar at night for a cocktail. Amazing food, and fast, friendly service. Great ambience, really cool space. Hands down my favorite spot in Newburgh. Try Betty's Falafel or the Chicken Schnitzel Sandwich. You won't be disappointed! If you haven't been here yet you are seriously missing out.

Just opened. Getting their sea legs but can’t beat the reasonable prices and inspired falafels, roast beef sandwich, and cocktails! Great vibe and place to chill! Adding this: Pastrami and great potato salad and place is getting more organized with staff. Looking forward to the upcoming Sunday brunches. Keep supporting local! These Liberty St businesses do have to put up with some stress like shoplifting and other troubles that come with running a small place like this. It’s a great venture by a local resident and deserves support and understanding! I’ve always had a great time the four or five times I’ve been in so far..so I’m surprised at some of the negative comments here. I appreciate the hard work of Doria and Jimmy☺ and so grateful for another place on Liberty!

Brunch was delicious--esp. the grits and biscuits. We've also enjoyed their sandwiches and salads. The atmosphere is fun and casual--a nice addition to Liberty Street.

Great set-up. Food was delicious, tomato corn salad was excellent and so was my Pastrami on Rye. Loads of craft beer for purchasing. Great cocktail list and looks like they're planning to do dinners in the future.

Came here with my husband and baby for Sunday brunch. The biscuit sandwiches were delicious and the staff was lovely. Also very cool that there is a little market for groceries. Will be back!

It's the perfect place for a fall breakfast. It all tastes homemade .. will come back for dinner.. bacon, pancakes .. yum

Lovely family owned establishment bringing a new vibe to the downtown area. Very reasonably priced, delicious coffee and pastries, and excellent service. Can’t wait for the restaurant/bar to open!

Been twice so far and it’s a nice place, the schnitzel sandwich and burger are great as well as their lobster salad. They just opened so it’s early stages on atmosphere and set up but it’s been positive for me.

Highly recommend the falafel sandwich, the iced coffee, and the fries. Can't beat the location overlooking Washington's Headquarters.

Great addition to newburgh! Good atmosphere and great drinks and eats! Baked goods are hard to resist!
