The Green Apple

This place is THE SPOT for breakfast on weekend mornings. Unassuming, but local and honestly pretty darn good diner style food. It is clear this is the place locals frequent for weekend morning breakfast.

We chose this place over the other person-named diners due to the images and reviews etc.

This is where you want to go for super friendly service and locals. We came with our service dog and the staff was super accommodating.

Super fast service. Pretty sure my cup of coffee never went below half! Food is super well
Priced too. Next time I visit this is my breakfast spot.

We got chicken fried steak and eggs with a side biscuit. There is something super tasty about their grilled biscuits. Fried steak was a good size and not one of these mega cuts

We also got the stuffed waffle which was really tasty.

Wife and I were shopping at the outlet mall and decided to get breakfast. Not being from the area I Goggled diners in Waterloo and a few came up. We chose the Green Apple and we are so glad we did.
It’s small and definitely a hometown diner. We were seated immediately and had our drinks within minutes. The waitress was very friendly and helpful as my wife had a few questions and requests about her choice.
The food came out and it was delicious! A lot of food from a very reasonable price. We will definitely be back anytime we are in the area and will spread the word about this little gem!!!

Small place but the place was packed which speaks on how good everything is. The menu has a lot of choices and the pricing is very good. The food we got was great and from the sounds of the other people recommending things to us there is a lot of good options on the menu. The service was very quick for how busy the location was. If you go you may have to wait but it is very much worth it.

The place is nica and quaint, some furniture looks like from the 60s. The waitress was a little grumpy, she was in a constant rush. The food is awesome and cheap. The price quality ratio is great. 5 dollars for a waffle and 7 for a pancake. The beverages are delightful and also great value.

I got the french toast with eggs and bacon. It was great and the egg is creamy, I just wish the cheese was more melted to blend it more. My daughter had the pancake with whipped cream. She was very happy for the way it's shaped.

They have a large selection of breakfast food on the menu and I noticed that they really have large servings. Very affordable price as well!

Great little diner here in Waterloo. The staff is friendly and very attentive, never had to ask for a drink refill. The food is tasty and they have a fairly large menu.
On our last visit on a busy Friday they appeared to be short staffed, but the service was friendly and attentive.
Went and tried their Friday night dinners during Lent. They're offering I'm guessing the more popular items from their lunch menu, a 10 or 12oz fish fry and on the night we went (3/3) 5 dinner specials like baked ham or turkey with all the fixings.

We happened to stop in from out of town on a day that everything else in town seemed to be closed. The kitchen staff and wait staff was beyond rockstars! They had wonderful attitudes and just kept the flow going. And the food was absolutely amazing! This is definitely the place to go for home cooking and atmosphere!

My best friend and I were outlet shopping and decided to drive into town for lunch. We Googled and found Green Apple, the menu looked so good. We both had the turkey dinner special. Best gravy I've ever had! If I were a local I'd be there every wk. I bet the breakfast is amazing. Plan to come again soon hopefully.

It was very good but they are not open for dinner but I recommend them for breakfast if you are in the area nice all the way around 😀 😋

I got their G.A. waffle (comes with vanilla ice cream, caramel drizzle and topped with whipped cream). It was the PERFECT amount of sweet and savory! Not only that, but our waitress was attentive, and the prices were very affordable!!

Took a break during a long drive to eat here (actually, this was the only place we could find to eat at). Food was great, place was busy. But the whole area is seriously depressed: Waterloo looks like it's just crumbling into the earth, but that seems true for much of upstate N.Y. Can't imagine living around here. Very sad.

CROWDED seating compared to most diners and only 1 waitress covering about 15 tables that I saw. Overall, food came out reasonably quick for how busy they were and was probably the best breakfast food I've had in the area! Will be back since there was a large menu to choose from!

We went for breakfast as this quaint little restaurant. As you first walk in you notice the country decor and wonderful smells of the food and coffee. The place was busy as it's not very large so we had to wait a few min for a seat but not a huge deal..only downfall is there isn't any real waiting area except the entry way. None the less I wouldn't hold that against then. We sat and were greated with a friendly smile. I ordered country fried steak and eggs which was delicious and my wife loved the French toast! Food and service were great..you deserve a much larger place so you can fill that up!!!

Delicious breakfast with very wonderful service! They were so busy and short staffed but managed to take care of everyone! Lisa is so sweet. We had the eggs Benedict, unicorn pancakes, home fries and coffee. A must go!
