One of the best Brooklyn Sicilian slices in the area. Actually better than Sal's. Great sauce, crust is light, airy with crisp and chew. Very friendly service and reasonable for Rye.

I ordered the arugula salad pizza, chicken cutlet with lettuce tomato wedge and grandpa pizza. What a knockout! The food was fabulous. The young lady that took the order was kind, friendly and professional. Fast delivery and super friendly delivery person. Food is so awesome you don’t need to go anywhere else. Highly recommended. The food is great and served quickly. The pizza is highly rated by BarStool Sports. I like the soups, Sicilian and large Calzones. Like anything nowadays it is getting pricey.

Been going here since Middle/High School back in the 90’s. Always great service, the pies haven’t changed whatsoever in all that time. By far, the best pizza in Rye. Best thing, I can now enjoy it with a beer LOL (limited selection but hey, a beer is a beer). Cash only so leave your cards at home...

My family lived in Rye since my ancestors moved here from other countries. They have been an icon in the town and their food tells it all. We recently moved to upstate, and even though the pizza up here is good, it is no match for Sunrise's!!! A dear family member brought us some this weekend and we did not realize how much we missed it!!! If you ever consider branching out, please let us know. WE MISS YOU!!!!!! Don't take great pizza and food for granted!!!!! We love you SUNRISE!!!!!

The only issue of the place being too short and the line being too huge. Yet it'd a very good pizza place

We love the plain cheese and crumbled sausage combo!
It tends to get busy and sometimes the phone gives a busy signal. They don't really do delivery. They use SLICE, but the best way is to try and call ahead go and pick up your food.
Definitely worth the wait.

Wow definitely the best pizza we have ordered. Also incredibly sweet and kind service - grubhub (not the restaurant) messed up our order and the owner sent her son with replacement pizza for us and was SO NICE about it. Also pizza is super flavorful, crust is crunchy and delicious and the eggplant is just ridiculously good. 10/10 will get again.

I enjoyed the best slice of margarita pizza I’ve ever had, today. I had it here. It was amazing. Words cannot describe how perfect this pizza was. I am a margarita pizza connoisseur and am always in search of the perfect piece. This is in my top 10 for sure. Maybe top 5.

Great pizza! This was my first "New York" pizza experience and I'm so happy that my family and I chose to go here! They had such a wide variety of pizza and other foods. The workers were all very nice and you can tell that they love their job because they were all joking around together. I got a slice of tortellini pizza and a slice of the grandpa pizza- both very delicious! Just a heads up, they only take cash. Although, they do have an ATM. Overall, the pizza and the environment were excellent.

Awesome pizza! The crust tastes perfectly balanced, and the toppings seem fresh. This is my go-to place for flavorful New-York style pizza, and I've never had a bad experience so far
