*AWESOME COMFORT FOOD* I drive 50 miles to eat here but not because it's one of the only remaining Ponderosa's in the area but because the food and service here is beyond compare!!!

My absolute favorite chicken wings! This location is closest to Cleveland, about 45 min NE. The food was just as good as it has been for last 20 years. Quick, easy and affordable, eat as little or as much as you want from the hot and stocked buffet. I'll eat here every time I'm in town.

Very amazing. Everything was hot,fresh and tasty. Everything is normal and dont have to wear a mask and you serve yourself att he buffet. Steaks still taste just like they did when I was a kid. Worth the hour drive for us. Will definitely go back. Please don't close.

It's been years since I've been to a Ponderosa, and I was certainly not disappointed! Good food, good prices. The restaurant was clean. The buffet was clean, and well stocked. Dessert was delicious too.
Drove an hour to go there, and will go again.
Recommend if you are looking for a nice buffet. Especially if you haven't been to one in a long time.

Prices are exactly what I expected. We took a road trip to see Ponderosa! We grew up on it and were stunned to find one not so far away and thriving! ITS SO CLEAN!!!!! The staff is so polite! Due to America's worker shortage they are slow BUT not hours. More like 5min behind on things. It was amazing. Food was so good and everything (I can't say this enough) WAS SO CLEAN! It was a fun walk in the past and we will be back soon!

Love ponderosa none in my town have to drive 1 hour to go there it was a good and delicious decision

One of the best places to eat ever . The sweet and tangy salad dressing is amazing and so are the wings.

Loved being at ponderosa again it was awesome the same as I remember it growing up. We will be back numerous times.

The atmosphere was impressive.
I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the restaurant which is important to me.
The waitress was courteous and she was patient with us considering the size of the group.
The buffet was great and I enjoyed the boneless chicken wings which were juicy and tender.
The meal I ordered was delicious and I enjoyed it.
Overall I was impressed

Even though we arrived a hour before closing, food was fresh. Service was so, so. Only saw our server once to refill our drinks. Had to flag down another waiter for more.
UPDATE: Busy night there. Cashier a little slow to ring people up. Food constantly filled. Waitress was great. Food was good.

Our family drives about an hour to this Ponderosa, not just for the great food but also for the amazing staff. The waitresses are attentive to our needs and the facility is always sparkling clean. The buffet has plenty of food choices for salads and hot foods as well. Modestly priced, high quality food. The kids love the burgers and the steaks are exceptional!

We had a very enjoyable dinner with our grandson with us. He is 7 years old and he really liked eatting here. He is looking forward to going back again and soon. We are happy to take him back soon. The waitress treated him wonderful and made a kid feel welcome. That made us feel good to see. It was rather she was worth a 7 dollar tip for her kindnesses and attentive to all 3 of us

My father and I took the trip from Cleveland to enjoy a meal together. We haven’t had Ponderosa in a very long time and we were very satisfied with the food and the service. Heather was a great waitress and made our visit fell like a blast from our past!

Its been a long long time since I have eaten at Ponderosa. However I have to say that everything was fresh, the salad bar was amazing and the restaurant was very clean! Only complaint i have is that the beef tips i got were over cooked and very tough. But the waitress said to try them and she would come back to see if I wanted them redone but she never came back. Everything else was very good and the chocolate chip cookies are to die for!! Soft and chewy and fill of chocolate chips!! Our new favorite lunch place!!

Sort of a hit or a miss to be honest, they are not always effective at getting food out. When I was there on Sunday, they put the spaghetti out without draining it first, and didn't fix it. So anyone who wanted spaghetti had to pull it out of a pot of water lol. But, for the price, it's a good bang for your buck. Always decent food.

I loved the potato's. And I mean every version of potato.... So tasty. Loved three pineapples usually the fruit be bad but here it was so tasty!!! Definitely can't wait to go back. Craving it!!!!

My wife and I eat at Ponderosa quit often. We love the ribs. The buffet is great as well. Add a 25% military discount and stamp your card for a free buffet. Hard place to beat for the quality be of food and cost. The staff are super friendly.

Great I wish there was a closer one. A 90 minute drive is a bit much. but we do it at least once a month. The service was great. We order Steak & baked potatoe plus the buffet.Steak was cooked to order!! We need Ponderosa back in Lorain county!!!!

Tried the blue cheese and butter sauce New York strip steak special. I have to say surprisingly good for a, not so big anymore, chain Buffet. Came out perfect medium rare. Was an excellent cut. Great flavor, no need for steak sauce at all. Also had shrimp added and was cooked well and crispy with the panko breading like I remember from Ponderosa long ago. Buffet was pretty good. Food was fresh and hot and was kept stocked. Also had no issues with my family, my wife and two small children seem to enjoy their meals. Decent choice of desserts also. Staff was friendly and helpful and attentive. Ate around beginning of dinner, 4 o clock. Not that I haven't had better buffets or meals anywhere, but for the price it was a very good value.
