Holly at Petco in Grass Valley is awesome! She took amazing care of my dog Buddy who went in for a bath and trim. She made him very comfortable and trimmed him beautifully. I will be back for sure!!

Been here a few times. Had a person help me and my sister tonight and they are awesome. Very friendly and knowledgeable! Made the visit even better.

The Alabama Theatre is a piece of history. If you visit Birmingham, you should NOT miss seeing the inside of this iconic building. It took my breath away. The pictures fall far short of its grandeur.

the Petco website said my local Petco did not have any of the Arm & Hammer cat litter i wanted - but when i called the store they said they had SIX... so they let me come down and buy 4 and still gave me the 15% online discount because they verified the website was not working properly...

Don was amazing. He held down the fort while everyone was at lunch. (He was the only worker I saw throughout the entire store) He not only helped me with lizard food, cat treats and dog treats (going above and beyond to check in the back to see if they had what I was looking for) but also helped to checked out myself and other customers at the front counter. This man deserves a promotion. I have never really had a good experience until he helped me today. My usual experience is always forced sales... trying to pitch me the expensive products instead of helping with what I'm looking for.

I love this Petco! Great customer service, whether u need help finding something in particular, or if u want some info regarding changing your pets diet or what products they personally recommend. Store is always neat & clean. Cashiers are fun & friendly, Grooming Dept does great job. My dog's a mini Great Pyreneese, w long crazy hair that grows in all directions. They shave her for/during summer & she looks great. Lots of compliments & inquiries where she was groomed.

All of the employees are ALWAYS helpful, if they can’t answer a question - they’ll find someone who can. Just a pleasure to shop there.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Was checked in right away for my appointment. My dog is very anxious and this was his first time at the groomers, they did wonderful with him! I'm very pleased and excited to bring my other 2 dogs to them!

Petco is stepping it up. The shelves were stocked, I was asked if I needed help. The employees were patient and very sweet concerning a hyper (very large) puppy I had brought in with me. The store was clean and the checkout was very friendly and quick. I also notice they opened up the grooming room so that we can see pets being groomed, that builds trust and I would now consider taking my dog for grooming.

I love this store! They always have what I need in stock and the clerks are very nice and helpful. The prices are comparable or better than on-line for the only food my picky cats will eat. This is my new go-to store for my pets. Goodbye, Amazon!

Not knowing where to go for grooming because my Vet no longer offers grooming services, I called Petco. The appointment process was easy over the phone, and Robin was there to greet me and my dog at the outside door to guide me in. Analyzing my dog and suggesting a couple things (long toenails) I could do to make my dog more comfortable in between grooming times. Dozer came out smelling beautiful, looked awesome and danced out the door. I'll make an appointment to go back, and the free groom helps absorb some of the pricing along with a 10% discount. Give Petco a call, and ask for Robin.

We have a new addition to our family in the form of a pup. He needed a few items and I felt we had given Bezos (Amazon) enough money. So PETCO it is. I hadn't been there in a few years. They have quite a selection of all kinds of stuff related to all kinds of pets, go figure. The folks that work there were super helpful in picking out and adjusting collars, jackets, rain coats, balls, water dishes etc etc. Really glad I stopped in there, they had everything we needed all in one stop.

the person who helped us at the register was really nice, patience and knowledgeable, my 6 years old son went over the register several times with questions about his guinea pig and betta fish, she was incredible nice and patience.

I always love going here, especially the Grass Valley one. The staff is always polite and it feels like a family. There prices are sometimes a bit over the competition and it's worth it to support local businesses such as these.

Friendly and helpful staff, good selection. I do wish they (all Petcos) would stop selling live animals though.
