Old St. Mary's Catholic Church

Absolutely gorgeous church. It's stunning! We held my Dad's funeral mass here last week with Father Joe. It was perfect. So grateful for God and for Father Joe sending my Dad to the kingdom of Heaven.

On a visit to Milwaukee we had to see the oldest Catholic Church. The building is absolutely beautiful and the people are friendly. We really enjoyed the visit! (We did not attend mass so these pictures were snuck from the back.)

My dad was organist from 1950ish to 1983. I had not been in this church in over 55 years. I love the stain glass windows and the altar piece presented to the church by King Ludwig of Bavaria. The organ is over 100 years old.

The Old St. Mary's Church was built in 1846-1847 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973. This is a beautiful historical Church and a must see. Check it out!

A wonderfully quaint beautiful Heaven on earth church. A must see. It's the oldest church in Milwaukee. It was back when horse and carriages were around and it's still as beautiful as it ever was you must go see and praise the Lord and say Hi to father Tim

Wisconsin wasn't even a state yet when this Catholic parish was founded by German immigrants. The church, built in 1846-47 is in great shape and is a sought after destination for weddings downtown. Thoughtful homilies and usually ample street parking make it popular for weekend masses for urban and suburban Catholics.

Beautiful church with a long Milwaukee tradition! Early Sunday Mass was broadcast on the radio back in the day. Very friendly people!

Father Tim is a great priest to his parish at Old St. Marys. My husband is from this area and I joined my father in law for church today and it was just a beautiful mass, a beautiful priest and a beautiful church!

As old as Milwaukee , this church with it's stained glass windows, lifelike statues, and beautiful decor is unlike any church you've seen. Historical and religious setting.

Who could give Old St. Mary's anything but 5 stars? Nice diverse parish. From youth to the seniors, nice to see everyone worship together. I live in Pewaukee and decided to join this parish.

Beautiful church. Just make sure you give yourself a few extra minutes to find parking since they only have a small parking lot.

One of the oldest buildings in Milwaukee. Built in 1846 for the Germans. Same year Milwaukee became a city. Inside is beautiful.
