A great little cafe. A variety of foods. Well prepared. I had the Pulled Pork, that days special, it was well prepared, and delicious.

Black Pear is always my go-to for amazing local breakfast. The food is incredibly fresh and prepared perfectly. The coffee and espresso drinks are unmatched in my opinion, and the staff are friendly and helpful!

There is also an assortment of prepared salads and sides that are fresh and delicious. Sometimes they carry Knead Doughnuts so that's another bonus! They even have rewards you can accrue to save money on future trips! Definitely stop in sometime! #supportsmallbusiness #shoplocal #barringtonri

Ive been eating here twice week here for over a year. Food is excellent and fresh. I love how Black Pear gets a lot of its food from local farms too. All the staff are very sweet.

I just tried this quaint little Cafe for the first time today. A friend took me there for a birthday Luncheon. I found it to be wonderful and will definitely revisit. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich with a side of potatoes with chorizo. Both were delicious! When walking back to find the bathroom I noticed a refrigerator case with the most Amazing looking strawberries! I asked if they were organic and to my surprise, they were! And might I add very reasonably priced. The bathrooms were unusual but I found them to be clean. One is extremely small but having the option of a larger one is very accommodating for those who need it. Also, the young ladies who waited on us were very sweet and accommodating. It was a wonderful experience!

Discovered Back Pear today and was happy to see they have Seven Stars bread and great pastries.

A great place to drink coffee, grab a quick bite, or even have a real lunch like I had this grass-fed beef burger and French toast sticks from the kids menu for my little daughter.

The Pear serves a selection of breakfast sandwiches and sweets including a highly recommended French toast. The quiche is always wonderful and so are the lunch options as well. Delicious and fresh pairings, fresh fruit and vegetables, crispy bright flavors are a staple. You order at the counter and food is delivered. Enjoy one of my favorites is the east bay !

Love the atmosphere, the iced coffee was worth it. Would go back in a heart beat!

Skip the marsupial and come here to a better cafe. I love that they serve breakfast all day. I had an amazing Autumn Hash with perfectly roasted vegetables and superb poached eggs. Healthy and fresh, it was accompanied by some very good sourdough bread. Friendly service, good espresso and even some good WiFi (I was told to sit near the back for a better signal). Free flavored water at the front if you dine in. I highly recommend the Black Pear and I'll be back to sample their dry goods and fresh bread for sale.

Incredibly delicious and wide variety menus, multiple flavor options to add to your coffees, teas, etc., clean and comfortable cafe, and amazingly sweet and friendly staff! I always recommend BP for breakfast/brunch/lunch. Keep doing what you’re doing, everyone, even through a pandemic, it is clear that BP’s #1 goal is customer satisfaction. :)

Fantastic food. I’ve been Several times and it is always delicious. The huevos rancheros are a favorite. Black Pear is a great reliable spot for breakfast & lunch!

We loved our breakfasts! The avocado toast was so fresh! The breakfast burrito was packed with flavor. It was bursting with taste! Every item was fresh and the coffee was divine. We will be back!

Absolutely my favorite place to eat out when in the area. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Their food is fantastic and their drinks are delish! Highly recommend stopping in and trying their food. Atmosphere is cozy as well. All around a great place to hang out.

The kale and chicken soup, and the Bulgur wheat salad I tried were so great! High end food. Place is charming, really nice attentive staff, urban funky decor. Its counter-service, but they serve to your table. it's really so great to finally have an excellent cafe in Barrington, the place is boss. There is nothing else like this here.
