A quirky diner that was so good we ate here every day while visiting family in Vermont! Reminded me of a vintage Airstream from our home state of Ohio and yet the food was chalk full of great vegetarian options! And I mean diverse, high quality options! From 6 - 61 we were all mighty satisfied!

Made it a priority to visit this place on my way to Killington VT and I’m glad I did. Rolled up at 1:30 pm for a late lunch. They close at 2 PM. The front parking lot was completely full, I had to pull around the back. There were actually people waiting for a table. Place was jumping! I decided to sit at the counter, so I didn’t have to wait. Was looking forward to the Ruben all day, and it did not disappoint (even though the pic isn’t very photogenic). Everything was fresh, served quickly, and the vibe can’t be beat. Classic diner experience all the way. Exactly what I look for on the road. Great prices too. Recommended!

How can you go wrong? An awesome retro silver bullet train style diner with booth and counter seating, great seasoned waitstaff, and excellent food. The tofu scramble ( curry seasoned tofu, soysage, and veggies ) with home fries....spinach pesto omelet with home fries....and coffees....all for well under $30!

Lots of locals eat here. Nice atmosphere. Friendly and welcoming place! 🙏 Can't wait to return!

I came here very often as a child with my grandmother, and it was so exciting to return. The Benn hasn't changed a bit in 20 years, and that made me very happy. One of the best breakfasts I've had in a long time!

Made a planned stop for Breakfast last week. It was so good! I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in the area.

holy $@%+...this place is sooooo simple yet perfect. The menu has a lot of options. Vegan sausages were DELICIOUS. Make sure to try the corn bread french toast too. They have huge portions of food. I would definitely come back.

This is my favorite diner. On earth. By far. I find any excuse to make my way to Blue Benn as often as I can. My wife and I were in the area this weekend and we ate here twice. The eggs Benny was shocking (the egg, brilliantly poached. The hollandaise, silky smooth). The smokehouse omelette was god tier. The pancakes had me emotional. The potatoes… oh god the potatoes… they should be illegal. I got a slice of maple pecan pie that changed the way I perceive the world around me. No joke, I love this place so much. Not only is the food unmatched, the vibes of Blue Benn are immaculate. It is truly my happy place. Never have I immediately felt so welcomed and comfortable in a restaurant setting. Currently scheming a plan to relocate to southern Vermont so I can eat here daily. Any negative review about this place is a fluke and a travesty and should not be trusted. I love the Blue Benn and can’t wait to come back soon!

Haven't been here in nearly 30 years. Doesn't disappoint! Fantastic diner and great service. Best breakfast in Bennington, and worth the wait. Arrived on Saturday around 9, full with a few waiting. We weren't picky and got the bar for 4 in less than 10 minutes. This is a must-visit breakfast spot.

This is a small diner that, I guess, looks today what it looked like when they opened many years ago. They have limited seating capacity but it is worth watching for. Most of the patriots seem to be regular as I observe many that didn't need a menu, and the waitress knew the order when they arrived. I have to remark the the three-egg omelette I ordered looked like it was really made of three regular eggs, unlike what they look like in many other places.

First time my husband and I have been back to Blue Benn since they first reopened a few years ago during Covid19. It was terrific then and was terrific for lunch today. We both had the turkey club sandwich with fries. We waited for a booth to open up rather than sit at the counter, which took less than 10 minutes before we were seated. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. Our food was delicious and the price was quite reasonable. We've had comparable meals at other locations in town and paid more. I've always enjoyed a good diner meal and this was one of them. We'll be back for sure.

We just traveled for 4 days across the country and ate at many restaurants, from small cozy ones to expensive elite restaurants. The food at Blue Benn was the best food, any meal, that we have eaten during this trip. It also compares well with our favorite at-home restaurants. We would eat here every day. Really excellent, tasty, delicious dishes. A great place to stop for astounding food.

They have a lot of vegan/vegetarian options. I got the tofu scramble and it was delicious. The juke boxes at the table were a lot of fun. We came before 9am on Sunday and got seated right away. When we left the place was full but there was no one waiting for a table...

The Bennington institution reborn! Love the Blue Benn for classic diner fare done right. Can be crowded on weekends for good reason. They do takeout but not on weekends since they are so busy. Don't miss the blueberry almond pancakes and always get the real VT syrup!

I went here yesterday with my friends for a birthday brunch!!! I got the apple cheddar omelette and it was delicious!!! Highly recommend the raspberry jam (it was a fan favorite)!!!!
