Stone Creek Coffee - Downer Cafe & Kitchen

Stone creek is one of those places that rocks (no pun intended). The staff are always very friendly and the drinks are amazing. They also have some of the best breakfast food I’ve ever had from a coffee shop. I really can’t describe it, but it’s soooo good

Came in today and got the sausage egg and cheese add bacon and my god this sandwich was so good. Most breakfast places have very subpar buns. This is not that place! Also all the baristas were very friendly and helpful! I’ll definitely be back again soon absolutely top notch thanks!!

This location of Stone Creek is one of my favorite places to go to study! The coffee is spectacular, and they even make some of their syrups in house. In addition, they serve food as well. They have ample seating for people to hangout or do work. When the weather is nice, they have outdoor seating! The baristas here are friendly, informative, and easy to talk to!

blended matcha tea latte with whip cream is amazing. I really love this place. The coffee is so yummy, but since I gave up coffee for lent I got a matcha instead; literally favorite matcha ever. Also everyone is just really kind here which is a added bonus.

I visited on grand opening day, excited to have a better local option to the shopworn coffee chain 2 blocks away.

Service here was good, coffee was very good, and my breakfast was too. Staff was personable. The store and outdoor patio are very well designed and comfortable. There is also a walk up window at the sidewalk that was very popular.

Completely packed on a Wednesday around 12:30pm. I love these new bowls. Keto friendly. I ordered the crab cake bowl. A surprising item for a coffee shop.

Their food is priced high. $9 for a small dish of berries, yogurt and granola. Not even labeled organic.

This place is great. The staff, food, and drinks are always superb. My fav food item is the "avocado and toasted chic pea". I normally get that and a fruit tray for breakfast.

This place is made for getting work done. They have several good seating areas. They have plenty of seating options including indoor, outdoor, high-top, small and big tables, and even a couch with tables in front of it! Lots of chargers too so no worries there.

I highly recommend this location - I sometimes work from 6am-5pm and noone has bothered me about it yet.

The shop really is world class. The decor and atmosphere are comfortable yet handsome, the staff expertly trained, and, most importantly, the coffee absolutely fantastic. Could not reccommend this shop enough, there is no better way to spend a Sunday morning than on their gorgeous patio with a good friend and a delicious coffee.

Better signage for the walk up window lines. Mobile orders should take priority at the walk up.

I've been here a few times now, and it's such a great coffee shop! Friendly staff, drinks are well made, the interior and exterior architecture is perfect, and the food is delicious.

The berries and granola is seriously so good. I could eat it all day.

It can be a little busy so grab the first seat you can get your hands on!

Of all the places I have been to, Kate (one of the master baristas) made the best V60 pour over I have ever tasted! Using there Oasis blend, I could not have been more surprised by the flavor notes from that coffee! Friendly staff, wonderful environment for meet-ups or work sessions, and the brilliant coffee makes this a must visit for coffee fanatics.

My favorite coffee spot in MKE. Need to stop here. The brew city cream ice cream drink is sooo good. You also can’t go wrong with the plates and scones here.

Great people, great coffee, and increasingly great food options! This has definitely been the spot to hit up on warm weather days to get work done on a patio, but it’s also great when it’s cold out because of ample indoor seating (and outlets if you’ve got a laptop!). So what about the food? It struck me as odd the first time I saw buttered toast on the menu, but this is not your average bread! It’s so fluffy and buttery, mmm, so good! And if I’m really hungry, I’ll get an egg on top for the perfect choose-your-own adventure breakfast (or midday snack).

Love this new location of Stone Creek Coffee on Downer! The outdoor space is beautiful and has lots of seating available! There is lots of free parking within the neighborhood and this Stone Creek even has a cute outdoor “to go” counter where you can order your drink right away without having to go inside. Love the little recombobulation area sign outside since it is so true to the MKE airport! ☕

Arguably the best SCC location. Great food, smooth flow of service, and staff genuinely enjoys their customers. Whoever leads that retail team deserves a raise...

I love this place! It's so easy for coffee shops, especially near universities, to become super precious hipster dens and this one has NOT. Friendly and welcoming staff and a relaxing atmosphere. As someone who drinks ice tea rather than coffee, I appreciate the year round availability of some truly delicious tea (I highly recommend the peach). Oh, and really good music.

Stopped in to visit with a friend. Got coffee and a smoothie on the way out.
Friendly staff, good service, nice store and seating layout, clean bathrooms and awesome coffee. My son said the smoothie was REALLY good. The shop was hopping, lots of people in and out, some relaxing awhile and others in and out quickly. We didn't try the food today, the menu selection looked good, the food on display looked fresh. They had an assortment of items to buy with their name and logo on.
Wheelchair friendly inside. Street parking, there's also a lot across the street (kitty corner) that had meters but I didn't make it over there to see prices or if there's restrictions.
Highly recommend stopping by, just down the street from shops and Downer movie theater, great area to walk around.

I love the food and customer service here! It can be very busy and kinda crowded at times but the service is unchanged. The quality of food including the presentation is never compromised. Their seasonal drinks and breakfast menu is one of the best I have seen for a coffee "shop". Would definitely go again. Pet friendly and accessible for all.
